  • Publication number: 20240126552
Abstract: Processor-guided execution of offloaded instructions using fixed function operations is disclosed. Instructions designated for remote execution by a target device are received by a processor. Each instruction includes, as an operand, a target register in the target device. The target register may be an architected virtual register. For each of the plurality of instructions, the processor transmits an offload request in the order that the instructions are received. The offload request includes the instruction designated for remote execution. The target device may be, for example, a processing-in-memory device or an accelerator coupled to a memory.

  • Publication number: 20240074944
Abstract: An article or vessel is described including a vessel surface and a coating set comprising at least one tie coating, at least one barrier coating, and at least one pH protective coating. For example, the coating set can comprise a tie coating, a barrier coating, a pH protective coating and a second barrier coating; and in the presence of a fluid composition, the fluid contacting surface is the barrier coating or layer. The respective coatings can be applied by PECVD of a polysiloxane precursor. Such vessels can have a coated interior portion containing a fluid with a pH of 4 to 8. The barrier coating prevents oxygen from penetrating into the thermoplastic vessel, and the tie coating and pH protective coating together protect the barrier layer from the contents of the vessel. The second barrier coating is comparable to glass surface if needed.

  • Patent number: 11394471
Abstract: A method and apparatus for detecting RF power comprising an input port configured to receive a high-power RF signal, at least one diamond chip attenuator, coupled to the input port, configured to attenuate the high-power RF signal, and an RF detector integrated circuit, coupled to the at least one diamond chip attenuator, configured to convert the attenuated RF signal into an output indicium representing a power level of the high-powered RF signal.

  • Publication number: 20150043231
Abstract: An apparatus having a plurality of multi-colored light emitting diodes (LEDs) or another visual display system for signage and visual communication. A unique device which, as an illuminated sign, can be rapidly deployed in response to relatively quickly changing conditions and used for many uses such as traffic control from vehicles such as pick-up truck tailgates. It includes (a) a display system; (b) a way to power and control the display; (c) a manner to interconnect the power and control to the display; and (d) a way to removably mount the display to the tailgate or doors of a vehicle such as a pick-up truck whereby the Multi-Purpose Tailgate Sign device is used to safely and quickly deploy a display or signage with a vehicle such as a work truck.

  • Publication number: 20150035309
Abstract: A solid, hard top cover device for a Jeep storage area. It is a security enclosure for the open storage space behind the back seat and in front of a hinged tailgate deck of a Jeep vehicle. The device includes a deck; a way to secure the deck to the storage area and structure of the jeep; a top pivoting lid 33; a manner for pivoting; and a manner for sealing the lid and the deck so that the device can provide a solid top to the storage area of a jeep protected with roll bars.

  • Patent number: 4371759
Abstract: An encoding switch generates selected patterns of voltage signals that correspond to the binary bits of a code word. A base of the switch supports a plurality of pairs of terminals. Each pair of terminals includes a conducting stationary terminal and a conducting moveable terminal that is positioned adjacent to the stationary terminal. An encoding module is inserted over the base to define a particular pattern of voltage signals. The module has a plurality of selectively detachable tabs that engage the movable terminals and press the terminals against adjacent stationary terminals when the module is slidingly engaged with the body. Relatively long tabs of the module establish connections corresponding to the data bits of a word and at least one short tab establishes a power connection for the switch.
