The mixed material is retrieved to a syringe (20) without being foamed. The mixing system (1) comprises a transfer unit (5) which is adapted to receive the first container (2) at a first port (11), the second container (3) at a second port (12) and the syringe (20) at a third port (13). The transfer unit (5) further houses a number of fluid pathways (14, 15, 16) interconnecting the three ports (11, 12, 13) as well as a number of flow control members (17, 18, 19, 22) for controlling fluid flow between the containers (2, 3) and the syringe (20).

Abstract: This invention relates to a device with a display (8) for displaying graphics, text and/or combinations thereof, the device has a processor (230) that is interfaced with said display, where the processor can compute and cause the display to display when to administer bolus insulin in which dose(s), when insulin at several occasions in fact were administered and in which doses at these occasions. Moreover, the processor can compute data linking a treatment regimen and insulin administered in the past. A display of the relations between the treatment regimen and the insulin administered in the past are possible. Moreover, a display of data, e.g. a graph, showing insulin administered in the past for longer periods, e.g. more days, months, etc. is possible. The data is useful in a dialogue between a health care person and a diabetic patient.

Abstract: A dose setting device for a delivery system has a piston rod (6, 9) which successively presses a piston (2) into a cylinder ampoule (1). Doses are set by rotating a second part (9) of the piston rod (6, 9) in relation to a first part (6). The two parts are connected by mating threads so that the total length of the piston rod (6, 9) is increased proportional to the angle of rotation, and a point (18) on the second part is moved away from a stop position fixed in relation to a housing (5) The set dose is delivered when the point (18) is moved back to the stop position. The first part (6) can be axially displaced but not rotated in the housing (5), and the second part (9) can both rotate and be axially displaced. The first part (6) is maintained in abutment with the piston (2) and the second part (9) is coupled to be rotated by a dose setting wheel (20).

Abstract: A distributor, in particular for a chemical analysis arrangement, is disclosed, having at least two plate-like housing parts which lie against each other with respective contact faces, wherein in the contact face of at least one housing part there is provided at least one channel that is covered by the other housing part. In a distributor device of that kind it is desirable to be able to structure the channels as precisely as possible and for the channels to be well-sealed, and for the volume to correspond as accurately as possible to a predetermined value. To that end, in one of the two contact faces there is provided a recess for receiving a bonding agent, which recess is arranged adjacent to the channel and follows its course.
