    Abstract: An expandable inter-vivos tube that allows for a single size to be used for adult or pediatric intubation is disclosed. The inter-vivos tube comprises a tube and a slit extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the tube. An adjustment means provides for the expansion of the tube to contact the glottis area preventing the back flow of inspired gases from escaping the patient.
