Abstract: A rigid tie capable of being removably mounted on an end portion of an elongate pliable member such as a bungee cord that has a resilient core covered with a woven fabric, with the tie when so mounted serving as an anchor. A pair of the ties may removably engage opposite end portions of a pliable member to form an endless loop that is adjustable as to length by sliding the pair of ties towards or away from one another. A single tie if desired may be utilized to removably join the end portions of two elongate pliable members together.
