  • Patent number: 11930970
Abstract: Exemplary power systems for dynamically controlling a dispenser drive motor for dispensing soap, sanitizing or lotion. An exemplary soap, sanitizing or lotion dispenser includes a housing, a receptacle for receiving a container for holding a soap, sanitizing or lotion, a container of soap, sanitizing or lotion and a pump secured to the container. The exemplary soap, sanitizing or lotion dispenser includes a power source, a motor and an actuator that couples the motor to the pump. In addition, the exemplary soap, sanitizing or lotion dispenser includes pulse width modulation circuitry in circuit communication with the power source and the motor. Movement of the actuator one actuation cycle dispenses a dose of soap, sanitizing or lotion. The pulse width modulation circuitry provides a plurality of voltage pulses to the motor to move the actuator one actuation cycle.

  • Patent number: 5236607
Abstract: The invention provides a process for the preparation of a lithium soap thickened grease which consists of heating a mixture of an oil and a lithium base, and optionally also a calcium base, to at least 100.degree. C., then adding a C.sub.10-24 saturated or unsaturated fatty acid, and heating the resulting mixture at a temperature in the range 110.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. until a thickened grease is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5190682
Abstract: This invention provides lubricant mixtures for use as base fluid in open-gear grease comprising 10% to 90% w of a liquid polybutene having a viscosity at 38.degree. C. in the range of 1,000 to 20,000 mm.sup.2 /s and a viscosity at 100.degree. C. in the range of 40 to 500 mm.sup.2 /s, and 10% to 90% of a liquid polyalphaolefin having a viscosity at 38.degree. C. in the range of 10 to 75 mm.sup.2 /s and a viscosity at 100.degree. C. in the range of 2 to 15 mm.sup.2 /s, and open-gear grease compositions containing a major proportion of such lubricant mixtures.

  • Patent number: 4862072
Abstract: A dedicated set of four input pads or pins of an LSI chip provides access by a serial data line to macrocells or other partioned logic of the LSI for individual test. A macrocell is connected to the remainder of the logic by a pair of multiplexer/test register combinations, one at the input, and one at the output of the macrocell. In a normal operation mode, the multiplexers connect each macrocell to the next, for normal signal flow. Under control of test signals, the test registers may be selectively loaded with data from the serial data bus, and the multiplexers may be switched to apply test data from the test register to a macrocell. The output multiplexer of the macrocell routes the resulting processed test data to the output test register, so it may be read out in serial form while normal operation resumes.

  • Patent number: 4490532
Abstract: Hydrogen chloride is passed into p-xylene and acetaldehyde to form bis-1-chloroethyl ether; the latter is converted to 2-(1-chloroethyl)-1,4-dimethylbenzene by the action of sulfuric acid and hydrogen chloride. Alkali metal hydrogen sulfide in aqueous methanol or ethanol converts the 2-(1-chloroethyl)-1,4-dimethylbenzene to alpha,2,5-trimethylbenzenemethanethiol; the sodium salt of the latter reacted with 2-chloropyridine-1-oxide yields 2-[1-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)ethylthio]pyridine-1-oxide which is then oxidized with hydrogen peroxide and alkali metal tungstate or tungstic acid to form 2-[1-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)ethylsulfonyl]pyridine-1-oxide.
