  • Patent number: 5503310
Abstract: In combination, a hanger for garments and other articles and a separately formed indicator secured to the hanger for indicating information associated with the garments and other articles, the hanger defining a hook adapted to engage a rail or other structure, and the hook in turn defining a support for receiving and engaging the indicator, the indicator including a hollow four-sided body defining an open top, an open bottom, a generally parallel pair of opposed sides, and a generally parallel pair of opposed ends connecting the sides, each side having a generally planar unapertured side surface and each end having sufficient surface area for displaying information thereon. The opposed sides having respective inner surfaces, at least one of which is formed so as to interlock with the support of the hanger.

  • Patent number: 4899938
Abstract: A nozzle adapter is removably mounted on the end of a liquid spray gun to provide a variety of spray patterns and to reduce or eliminate the atomization of the spray liquid. The nozzle adapter is formed by a liquid material discharge member which is removably mounted on the spray gun and an outer pressurized air adjustment member which is removably adjustably mounted on the discharge member. A cone-shaped nozzle of the discharge member projects outwardly through an air passageway formed in a front wall of the air adjustment member. A tubular stream of pressurized air is projected outwardly through the air passageway and surrounds a stream of liquid discharged through an opening in the nozzle tip. Adjustment of the tubular air pattern provides for various liquid spray patterns and varying amounts of atomization of the discharged liquid. The discharge member may alternatively be mounted on a spray gun without the air adjustment member mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 4171096
Abstract: A nozzle for a spray gun for depositing liquid on a work surface including a body having a channel communicating with a dispensing tip for the liquid, an assembly for attaching the body to the spray gun such that the liquid supplied from the spray gun is introduced into the channel of the body, a passage for the transmittal of pressurized air from the spray gun to a position proximate the dispensing tip, and an air cap circumposed about the dispensing tip having a plurality of orifices therein communicating with the passage for directing pressurized air jets axially of the air cap, whereby the liquid emitted from the dispensing tip is entrained within the confines of the pressurized air jets and deposited on the work surface.
