Patent number: 11972180Abstract: A method and computing system operable for displaying a first routing diagram on a display. The first routing diagram is a member of a first set of routing diagrams that includes multiple different routing diagrams. Displaying the first routing diagram includes displaying a user-selectable control and a first portion of a particular routable component within the first routing diagram. The user-selectable control corresponds to a location of the display where a first terminal connected to the particular routable component or a second terminal connected or connectable to the first terminal is displayed. An additional function include determining, by a processor, a selection of the user-selectable control occurs while the first routing diagram is displayed on the display. A further function includes displaying, on the display in response to determining the selection of the user-selectable control occurs, the second routing diagram with a second portion of the particular routable component highlighted.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Mitchell Repair Information Company, LLCInventors: Michel B. Publication number: 20240125567Abstract: Disclosed are methods for coating aluminum alloy heat exchangers that include the use of a waterborne top coating. By using a waterborne top coating, relative to a solvent borne, useful advantages can be achieved, such as improved penetration depth of the top coating. An example method includes cleaning a surface of a heat exchanger; contacting the surface of the heat exchanger with a first mixture to provide a passivation layer on the surface of the heat exchanger; contacting the passivation layer with a second mixture in a bath and applying a positive charge to the bath to provide an electro-coating on a surface of the passivation layer; and contacting the electro-coating with a third mixture, the third mixture including water and a polymer resin having anti-corrosion and ultraviolet protection properties, to provide a top coating including the polymer resin on a surface of the electro-coating.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: John Michael Vandenbark, Eric R. Publication number: 20240119753Abstract: A method includes transmitting a request for a computer-readable routing diagram, such as a wiring diagram, a pneumatic or hydraulic line diagram, or an optical cable diagram. The method also includes receiving, in response to the request, a routing diagram including a connectable component and at least a portion of a routing set. The connectable component is associated with both a connectable component identifier and the routing set. The routing set contains one or more routable components, such as electrical circuits, pneumatic or hydraulic lines, or optical cables. Further, the method includes displaying, on a display, the routing diagram and at least the portion of the routing set highlighted. Displaying at least the portion of the routing set highlighted occurs in response to an occurrence of the connectable component being selected from the routing diagram displayed on the display or in response to the request including the connectable component identifier.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Michel B. Publication number: 20080244022Abstract: Systems and methods are described for customizing electronic communications and systems. In particular, methods for generating and using templates are described. Email is typically customized according to a scheme or format selected by the user and in accordance with an affinity of the user with an organization, sports team or an event. Participants in a sporting activity may choose to participate in disclosed systems on behalf of the league or sporting organization's members. Text and graphical content provided by participants may be associated with links to dynamically provided information. Content providers may offer a plurality of templates including branded messaging such as E-mail featuring images and brand related to sports, motion picture, arts, entertainment and hobbies. Templates may include advertising content allowing a service provider to generate revenue from ad placement. A toolbar is described that permits subscribers to choose whether a template should be added to the message.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2007Publication date: October 2, 2008Inventor: John W. Patent number: 5786281Abstract: An environmentally sound vegetation growth-enhancing erosion control blanket is formed from an elongated rectangular excelsior/wood wool mat. The mat is held together with adhesive and a surface pattern is embossed therein. When the finished blanket is placed atop the ground, the blanket serves to shield the earth area from wind and water erosion forces, without the presence of the plastic netting often used in the prior art. As the ground vegetation grows, it ultimately replaces the blanket which decomposes and furnishes the ground vegetation with a nutritive mulch.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 1997Date of Patent: July 28, 1998Assignee: American Excelsior CompanyInventors: Timothy Prunty, Wendell E. Johnson, deceased, John W. Johnson, legal representative

Patent number: 5028064Abstract: A positively steered racing wheelchair is disclosed which includes a frame support on a pair of large wheels and a positively steerable trailing wheel. A seat for the athlete is suspended from a central position of the frame and is configured such that the athlete sits in a very low position to improve stability and to advantageously place the leverage of the athlete's arms with respect to a pair of drive rings situated outboard the large wheels. Positive steering of the may be accomplished in various ways. One embodiment employs a laterally pivotal seat structure with actuating cables connected to the seat back such that pivotal motion of the seat, as the athlete leans into a turn, is communicated to the trailing wheel to effect steering. Another embodiment utilizes actuating cables attached to cuffs around the athlete's biceps such that the natural tendency to twist into a turn can be translated into steering forces.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 1989Date of Patent: July 2, 1991Inventor: John W. Patent number: 4850405Abstract: A wheeled trailer provides carriage for a delimbing member having associated means to move a log therethrough and a cutoff member to cut delimbed logs to merchandizable lengths. The vehicle is propelled by a separate tractor and logs are presented to and removed from the mechanism by separate log handling devices. The vehicle is of small simple, rugged, durable nature to accommodate Western logging on rough and rugged terrain. The delimbing and cutoff members are pivotally mounted on the vehicle, and pivotally interconnected to each other to require parallel orientation so that delimbed logs are cut to length substantially perpendicularly to their axis. Log cutting is accomplished by a chain-type saw.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 1988Date of Patent: July 25, 1989Inventors: Ernest W. Johnson, John W. Johnson, David C. Pontrelli
