    Abstract: An improved remote register is provided with a novel locking device for prevention of rotation of the digital counter upon removal of the register cover. The cover includes an integral cam positioned to disengage the lock upon replacement of the cover. The remote register further includes integral mounting brackets and an electromagnetic relay having a unitary pawl and armature.
