    Abstract: In a building an automatically controlled supplemental duct system causes circulation of warm air from the attic space during the heating season and cool air from the basement space during the cooling season when favorable temperature differences exist between said spaces and the internal space which is to be thermally controlled. Absent said favorable temperature differences, a conventional forced air delivery heating - cooling system operates in the conventional manner.
