  • Patent number: 10154740
Abstract: A cabinet system having a protective shroud and an external frame with a linear track. The protective shroud provides a protected inner space shielded from moisture and airborne contaminants. The cabinet system also includes a mounting assembly having a mounting arm that can be affixed to a support structure and also having a mounting foot slidably engaged to the at least one track. The mounting foot can be fixed at positions along the linear track allowing the cabinet to be mounted at different position relative to the support structure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 25, 2015
Date of Patent: December 18, 2018
    Assignee: Daktronics, Inc.
Inventors: Peter McMahon, Pat Lilla, Josh Pommer, Jeff Holm, John W. Syrstad

  • Publication number: 20130257235
Abstract: An electronic display includes one or more face panel displays. Each face panel display includes a face panel, one or more stiffeners mounted to the face panel, and a polycarbonate panel sandwiched between the stiffeners and the face panel. The polycarbonate panel is bent to define first and second side surfaces and the polycarbonate panel follows a contour of the face panel such that a front face of the polycarbonate panel abuts a back surface of the face panel and the first and second side surfaces abut corresponding side surfaces of the face panel.

  • Patent number: 8104204
Abstract: An electronic sign having vertically hinged face panel doors which open individually about offset hinge assemblies and which aid in minimizing distorted seal compression. Individual door stop assemblies allow an operator to manageably open the face panel doors and to lock the face panel doors. In the open position, the face panel doors are protected from damage due to wind currents or gusts. The use of face panel doors having a parallelogram cross section profile allows for closely spaced face panel doors with a minimum panel-to-panel gap for uniform spacing and viewing of lighted pixel displays.

  • Patent number: 7605772
Abstract: An electronic display panel having a combination of aligned and connected forwardly located panels to which a plurality of rearwardly located LED modules easily and readily secure using three-point attachment to form an electronic display panel suitable for accommodation by and for securing to the structure and framework of a sign system. Configured spacer brackets offer mutual spaced support between the front and rear panels and are constructed using arcuate geometry for dimension minimalizing to prevent interference with the viewing of the LED pixels. Notches are located along the bottom edge of the electronic display panel for simple engagement, such as with an arcuate surface of a pivot bar incorporated in a lower structure of a sign system.
