  • Publication number: 20090066022
Abstract: A method of playing a word construction game wherein one character, letter or stroke is added at a time to a defined space appearing on a paper surface, computer interface, mobile communication device screen, personal digital assistant or a non-paper erasable surface displaying discrete blank spaces. Each player aims to add at least one character, letter or stroke in turn anywhere within the array of previously played content and available blank spaces that continues the formation of a valid word without completing it. The completion of a valid word subjects the active player to challenge and a penalty in scoring. Absent losing a challenge, players receive points for each character, letter or stroke added without successful challenge during a round of play. Valid words must read without skipping any characters, letters or strokes or any blank spaces, be a predetermined minimum length, and meet other conditions as prescribed by preset rules.

  • Patent number: 7086413
Abstract: A bi-directional damper valve is provided for connecting to a hydraulic line, to regulate fluid flow therethrough. The damper valve includes a main valve body having a flow passage formed therethrough, and the flow passage widens at central portion of the valve body to form a central chamber, which has valve seats formed at opposite ends thereof. The main valve body also has two bypass channels formed therein, which branch off the central chamber near the valve seats, and which selectively communicate with the flow passage. The damper valve also includes two poppets, oriented facing in opposite directions in the central chamber. Each of the poppets has a hollow bore formed therethrough, to always allow fluid flow through the damper valve at a first (minimal) rate. The damper valve also includes a spring extending between the poppets, and normally biasing them against the valve seats.

  • Patent number: 6732199
Abstract: A system and method for scheduling packet output according to a quality of service (QoS) action specification. A system is provided with a calendar queue with a plurality of bandwidth timeslots, wherein the bandwidth timeslots are organized into groups. A look-up logic circuitry inspects a group of bandwidth timeslots substantially simultaneously and determines from the group a first unoccupied bandwidth timeslot in which a current packet can be scheduled. The look-up logic circuitry also determines a first occupied bandwidth timeslot that contains a next packet to be transmitted.
