Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method of determining the need of adding a mitigant to feed for inactivating viruses that might be present in said feed. The preferred mitigant is a mixture comprising benzoic acid flakes and a powder that comprises eugenol and thymol. Said mixture inactivates viruses quickly, even when added in low concentration only. This applies in particular (but not only) to porcine epidemic diarrhea vims (PEDV). The animal feed, by way of the invention, is thus rendered to be substantially free of harmful viral RNA.

Abstract: A dispenser for bottled liquid is provided comprising a housing attached to the bottle, the housing having a chamber for a source of pressurized gas, and a stopper for the neck of a bottle having a conduit connecting the stopper and the housing containing the pressurized gas. The stopper has ingress bores whereby the gas may be introduced into the bottle and an egress bore whereby the liquid in the bottle may be dispensed. The stopper has a slider with compressible and expandable means thereon and an operator to move the slider whereby the compressible material functions to seal the neck of a bottle.

Abstract: A puzzle game comprises a base having a plurality of steps extending upwardly from a circular wall to a top platform. A circular well or raceway extends between the circular wall and the lower of the steps and receives a circular ring therein for rotation thereabout. A plurality of additional rings are rotatably supported on the steps and a center member is supported on the platform. The faces of the rings are slanted upwardly and have line indicia thereon forming a maze pattern. A player rotates the rings which come to a click-stop in a random manner. A maze is created from the outer edge of the device to the center member and vice versa. Scores are awarded to a player in proportion to the length a playing piece is moved by the player through the maze for a given time period. The highest score is awarded the player who negotiates a path through the maze with a playing piece within a specific time period.
