  • Patent number: 6726164
Abstract: A mounting bracket (226) has a toolless fastening feature for securing to a frame (18) having regularly spaced mounting apertures (19). The mounting bracket (226) has a bracket body (270) which includes a first tab (256) and a second tab (258). The second tab (258) has a guide aperture (264), a clip member (260) and a tab member (262). The clip member (260) and the tab member (262) extend forward of the second tab (258), spaced apart from the guide aperture (264), such that the guide aperture (264) will register with one of the mounting apertures (19) when the clip member (260) and the tab member (262) extend through two of the mounting apertures (19).

  • Patent number: 6554379
Abstract: A slide rail assembly is provided having first and second slide rails, with the second slide rail being telescopically extendible from the first slide rail. A latch is mounted to the slide rail assembly to retain the second slide rail in a forward, extended position, cantilevered from the first slide rail. A rigid release member is slidably mounted to the second slide rail, and extends from a forward portion of the second slide rail to an intermediate portion of the second slide that is disposed substantially adjacent to the latch, such that movement of the release member in a forward, lineal direction releases the latch from securing the second slide rail in the extended position.

  • Patent number: 6442030
Abstract: A drawer (20) for a server system rack (12) includes a tray (38) and an electronic switch (30). The tray (38) and the electronic switch (3) are secured to the rack (12) by mounting rails (52), which are secured to the rack (12) by mounting brackets (53, 54) having toolless fasteners (99). Telescoping slide assemblies (56) secure the tray (38) to the mounting rails (52) for moving from a position disposed within the rack (12) to a position extending outward of the rack (12). A keyboard (22) and a display (26) are mounted to the tray (38). The electronic switch (30) is mounted rearward of the tray (38), and remains stationary with respect to the rack (12). A flexible cable management arm (48) extends between the tray (38) and the electronic switch (30) for securing cabling (34).

  • Patent number: 6116566
Abstract: A processor support bracket is provided for mounting a processor cartridge package to a surface of a system baseboard of a personal computer. The processor support bracket includes a mounting section which is mounted to the baseboard to secure the cartridge package to the system baseboard. An end of the mounting section which is disposed adjacent to the surface of the baseboard has two spaced apart apertures which extend therethrough, transverse to the surface of the baseboard. Two slots are formed into the end of said mounting section and extend transverse to the apertures. The slots intersect the respective ones of the apertures and have widths for passing fasteners through the slots and into respective ones of the apertures for securing the mounting section to the system baseboard.
