    Abstract: A vented trash can is provided, which consists of a container having an open top for the insertion and removal of a plastic trash bag. A component is for allowing air to enter the container under the plastic trash bag when removing the plastic trash bag from the container. The normal vacuum in the container is now broken and the plastic trash bag can slide out rather than be suctioned against the inside of the container.
