    Abstract: A display assembly combines a digital display with an edge-lit illuminated faceplate, using light sources mounted around the digital display. The light sources direct illumination radially outwardly of the digital display and into the edge of the faceplate. An intermediate housing may accommodate the digital display, the light sources and the faceplate. The light sources are configurable and the digital display may be programmed to create zones with different content and customizable according to schedules of operation.
