  • Publication number: 20240125739
Abstract: A field device comprising first and second tines; first and second rods coupled to the first and second tines; a coil arrangement fixed to the first rod; a magnet fixed to the second rod, opposite the coil arrangement; excitation circuitry coupled to the coil arrangement and controllable to provide a time-varying current to the coil arrangement, resulting in vibration of the first tine in relation to the second tine; sensing circuitry coupled to the coil arrangement and configured to provide a sensing signal indicative of a change in at least one property of the vibration of the first tine in relation to the second tine; and measurement control circuitry coupled to the excitation circuitry and the sensing circuitry for controlling operation of the excitation circuitry.

  • Patent number: 4672609
Abstract: A memory system for a computer detects data errors, address errors and operation errors to increase the reliability of data stored in the memory system. Address errors are detected by encoding address parity information into the data check field of each memory location. A signal is generated in each memory module indicating the status of operations of that memory module and is transmitted to the processor subsystem of the computer for comparison with a signal indicating the status of operations of the processor subsystem to insure that all memory modules and the memory control in the processor are receiving the same commands.
