  • Patent number: 11472460
Abstract: A cart is disclosed which is capable of being wheeled to a vehicle and mounted thereon through a mount secure coupling attached to the cart and a secure receiver attached to the vehicle. Upon secure attachment to the vehicle, the carts undercarriage assembly including wheels are capable of being retracted into the top deck assembly of the cart. Therefore, the vehicle maintains clearance from the road even after the cart is attached. Upon reaching a destination, the undercarriage of the cart is lowered and the cart is detached from the vehicle. The cart is then able to be wheeled away. The cart allows for transportation of loads without the need for the operator to actually carry either the load or the cart at any stage from start to finish or perform any additional steps to safe and securely attach the cart to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11446570
Abstract: An imitation learning system may learn how to play a video game based on user interactions by a tester or other user of the video game. The imitation learning system may develop an imitation learning model based, at least in part, on the tester's interaction with the video game and the corresponding state of the video game to determine or predict actions that may be performed when interacting with the video game. The imitation learning system may use the imitation learning model to control automated agents that can play additional instances of the video game. Further, as the user continues to interact with the video game during testing, the imitation learning model may continue to be updated. Thus, the interactions by the automated agents with the video game may, over time, almost mimic the interaction by the user enabling multiple tests of the video game to be performed simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 11373852
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe techniques for mitigating charging on optical windows. For example, a device for mitigating charges inside a chamber of a trapped ion system is described that includes an array of parallel wires formed from a single, conductive plate by cutting elongated gaps through an entire thickness of the conductive plate that separate the wires, an outer portion of the conductive plate to which the wires are attached is configured to position the wires to run parallel to one or more trapped ions in the chamber and to position the wires between a dielectric component of the chamber and the one or more trapped ions. A chamber with such an array of parallel wires and a method of using such an array of parallel wires are also described.

  • Publication number: 20220157068
Abstract: A neural network is configured to process image data captured by a vehicle-mounted camera. The neural network includes common processing layers (a trunk) and separate, parallelizable processing layers (branches). An object detection branch of the neural network is trained to detect objects that may be visible from the vehicle-mounted camera, such as cars, trucks, and traffic signs. A curve determination branch is trained to detect and parameterize salient curves, such as lane boundaries and road boundaries. The curve determination branch itself is configured with a trunk and branch architecture, having both common and separate processing layers. A first branch computes a likelihood that a curve is present in a given location of the image data and a second branch further localizes the curve within the given location if such a curve is present. Training of the different branches of the neural network may be decoupled.

  • Publication number: 20210390396
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating designs in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for training a generator to generate designs. The method includes steps for generating a plurality of candidate designs using a generator, evaluating a performance of each candidate design of the plurality of candidate designs, computing a global loss for the plurality of candidate designs based on the evaluated performances, and updating the generator based on the computed global loss.

  • Publication number: 20210057872
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe techniques for fast stabilization of multiple controller beams with continuous integrating filter. For example, a method is described for intensity stabilization of laser beams (e.g., ion controller beams) in a trapped ion system, where the method includes applying a linear array of laser beams to respective ions in a linear array of ions in a trap, performing, in response to the laser beams being applied, parallel measurements on the ions, the parallel measurements including multiple, separate measurements on each of the ions to identify fluctuations in intensity in the respective laser beams at each ion, and adjusting the intensity of one or more of the laser beams in response to fluctuations being identified from the parallel measurements. A corresponding system for intensity stabilization of laser beams in a trapped ion system is also described.
