  • Publication number: 20220306235
Abstract: An electric vehicle rechargeable via electric power transferred from a power outlet separate from the vehicle includes a seat movable between a first position for supporting a person and a second position. A caddy is positioned below the seat to define a cable storage volume. The cable storage volume is accessible when the seat is in the second position. A charging port is positioned outside of the caddy and accessible with the seat in the first position. A charging cable is positioned within the caddy, the charging cable having a first end engageable with the charging port of the vehicle and a second end engageable with the power outlet. The first and second ends of the charging cable are removable from the caddy when the seat is in the second position to enable charging the electric vehicle via the charging cable and the charging port.

  • Patent number: 10589214
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for improving carbon capture by providing particles within an amine solvent. The particles provide for increased turbulence at the interface between the counter-flowing gas and solvent, which allows for increased amine and carbamate salt diffusion between the liquid film and bulk.

  • Patent number: 10559433
Abstract: An electrical switching device for controlling lighting or other electrical loads from multiple locations. Device toggle element indicates to a user whether or not the load is energized. A raised “ON” position indicates an energized load while lowered “OFF” position indicates the load is not energized. Toggle element position is changeable manually by the user or programmatically by an actuator mechanism. A mode of communication exists among devices so that when one device's toggle element position is changed manually, this change is communicated to other devices on the same circuit and these other devices activate their actuator in order to change the position of their toggle elements in synchronization. One or more loads are connected to devices and are energized when the respective device's toggle element is in the raised “ON” position and de-energized when the device's toggle element is in the lowered “OFF” position.

  • Patent number: 8226484
Abstract: A hand-held Wii remote controller for a video game system is adapted to simulating motion control for a motorcycle, jet skis, or other vehicle steered by handlebars. The player holds the remote horizontally with one hand on each end, parallel to a TV display screen, and can control simulated motorcycle operations using inertial sensing. For example, rotating the handheld remote about its orthogonal X/Y/Z axes as pitch (throttle accelerate/decelerate), yaw (steering left/right), and roll (leaning left/right into a turn) can be used as control inputs. In addition, the player can emulate a more aggressive, real-world lean into turns by rocking side-to-side on an optional balance board.
