  • Patent number: 10572948
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing data associated with potential damage to a portion of the property. One or more sensors may be disposed in proximity to the portion of the property, where the one or more sensors are configured to sense physical force applied to the portion. A controller module calculates mechanical force data based on the sensor data and estimates an amount of damage to the portion of the property based on the mechanical force data. In some aspects, an insurance provider can use the estimated amount of damage to perform insurance coverage functionalities, estimate damage to additional properties, maintain a damage history for the property, and notify customers of suggested improvements to the property.

  • Patent number: 10467541
Abstract: A method and system improves content searching in a question and answer customer support system by using a crowd-machine learning hybrid predictive model, according to one embodiment. The question and answer customer support system determines which customer support content to provide to users by using the hybrid predictive model, according to one embodiment. The question and answer customer support system receives a search query from a user and applies the search query (or a representation of the search query) to the hybrid predictive model, according to one embodiment. The hybrid predictive model generates a likelihood that particular customer support content is relevant to a user's search query, according to one embodiment. The question and answer customer support system acquires user feedback from users and updates/trains the hybrid predictive model based on the user feedback, according to one embodiment.

  • Patent number: 7845429
Abstract: A solution for determining a neutral point of a drillstring in drilling a borehole is disclosed. The solution includes receiving depth-time log data for drilling the borehole with the drillstring, the depth-time log data including data related to a torque and drag factor and data related to a hydraulic factor; and determining the neutral point of the drillstring at a time point during the drilling based on the torque and drag factor and the hydraulic factor.

  • Patent number: 7526930
Abstract: A method of determining a particular value on a display, comprises the steps of: moving a time log relative to a time line until the time line identifies a selected time on the time log; moving a plurality of values on the display in synchronism with the moving of the time log relative to the time line; and identifying one of the plurality of values on the display when the time line identifies the selected time on the time log, the one of the plurality of values on the display representing the particular value. The particular value on the display comprises a depth on a depth log representing a depth of a drill bit in a borehole. The depth log moves in synchronism with a movement of the time log when the time log moves relative to the time line.
