    Abstract: A portable travel pillow is a freestanding, portable device which allows a traveler to rest or sleep comfortably while remaining in a seated position. The travel pillow is comprised of an adjustable tilting facial pad (1-8), an adjustable-length support (9,10,12), two lower leg stands (13) interconnected inside a housing (11,14) and two lower leg pads (16) connected to the leg stands with a ball and cup joint (15). When in use, the bottom of the portable travel pillow is supported by the user's lap, and the top of the travel pillow supports the user's head and neck. When not in use, the portable travel pillow collapses to a compact shape.
