  • Publication number: 20140280540
Abstract: System and method of performing a crowdsourced online idea generation and peer review process for main topic of interest for a client, often involving large numbers of expert participants and a panel of expert moderators. Qualified participants are drawn from a database of system members, and moderators are often qualified client employees or consultants. A server, capable of hosting various threaded discussions on various related topics, is first initialized with various related topics, seed ideas and comments. Participants are then given access for a predetermined time, and contribute new ideas, peer review other participant's ideas, and vote ideas up and down. Moderators review progress, and vote to highlight ideas and comments, close ideas, and delete off-topic contributions. Various voting analysis algorithms draw attention to promising ideas. Participants are rewarded on a daily basis for contributing ideas, comments, and votes. The system produces new ideas that are peer reviewed and prioritized.

  • Publication number: 20140244520
Abstract: A system and method of managing a server based multi-member or crowdsourced scouting process for client sponsored technology, product, or prior art searches. Clients submit search requests with non-confidential and often confidential parts, and associated search constraints, often via electronic client workspaces. This is stored in the system database. Members and their associated member information are also stored in the system database. Potentially interested members are contacted, given non-confidential information, and NDA submitting members then are provided with any confidential part of the search. Members then utilize their own networks to generate search leads. Member submitted leads are then evaluated either automatically or via administrator system dashboards, and passing leads given to clients for review or approval. Efficiency is enhanced by allowing various types of member-client feedback during the process. Funds or other rewards are dispersed to those members who submit client approved leads.

  • Publication number: 20140214468
Abstract: Internet web server based method/system for providing confidential, moderated, crowdsourced problem solving resources to solve various problems. A crowdsource database of various skilled individuals interested in acting as problem solvers and team facilitators is provided, along with a database of client proposed problems, divided into non-confidential and confidential problem statement sections, key skills needed, and other criteria. These criteria are used as an index to the crowdsource database, and potential matches found. An administrator uses a server provided dashboard GUI, and the non-confidential problem statements, to pick among the various proposed matches, determine interest, and form small facilitator moderated teams. After suitable NDA, the confidential problem statement is revealed, and the teams interact confidentially with the client through the server. Facilitator moderation, problem restatement, and other methods reduce burden on the client and improve solution quality.

  • Publication number: 20020002509
Abstract: A method and system for enabling users to post trade lead notices, view trade lead notices, and receive notification when a trade lead notice adhering to a criteria requested by the user becomes available. An e-commerce facilitator comprising a digital computer coupled to a communications network automatically generates and operates multiple linked associated websites (including websites whose display is presented in different languages) enabling users to gain remote electronic access to the services provided. The facilitator maintains a central database common to all associated websites used for storing trade lead notices, user profiles and a selection of advertisements. The facilitator correlates a sub-selection of advertisements with a particular user of the system dependent upon the data profile associated with that user.
