  • Publication number: 20240125274
Abstract: An apparatus contains a dihydrogen tank and/or a dihydrogen circuit, and a device for regulating a concentration of dihydrogen located outside the tank and/or the circuit. The device includes at least one pair of electrical conductors including a first electrical conductor supplied with a first voltage and a second electrical conductor supplied with a second voltage which is different from the first voltage. At least one controller repeatedly commands the application of a predetermined voltage difference between the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor so that an electric arc of controlled power is formed in order to burn dihydrogen possibly coming from the tank and/or from the circuit. Thus, dihydrogen does not accumulate in undesired places in the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20230415909
Abstract: A tank system comprising a tank, a drainage line fixed in the bottom part of the tank and having a drainage port at each end and, for each drainage port, a funnel having a wall through which at least one window passes, a body that can move in translation, for each funnel, a plug that is secured to the body and arranged to be able to move inside said funnel between an open position and a closed position, and an arm, a first end of which is mounted in an articulated manner to the top part of the tank and a second end of which is mounted in an articulated manner on the body.

  • Patent number: 11769889
Abstract: A hydrogen storage system comprises a hydrogen tank and a system for controlling hydrogen evaporation in the hydrogen tank. This control system comprises a hydrogen discharge pipe connected to the hydrogen tank, on the one hand, and to a controllable valve, on the other hand, as well as a processing unit configured to control the valve as a function of the pressure in the tank. The hydrogen storage system further comprises a fuel cell permanently connected to the hydrogen tank and the processing unit being electrically powered by the fuel cell.

  • Publication number: 20230235842
Abstract: A device for connection of double-wall pipes including an interior connection system connecting the first and second interior pipes and an exterior connection system including a first part that cooperates with an end section of the first exterior pipe and a second part that cooperates with an end section of the second exterior pipe. The exterior connection system is configured so that at a first temperature at least one of the first and second parts exerts a contact force on the end section of the corresponding first or second exterior pipe greater than at a second temperature higher than the first temperature in order to reinforce the seal, especially in the event of a hydrogen leak when hydrogen is present in the first and second interior pipes.

  • Publication number: 20230167946
Abstract: In a system and a method for pressure management while extracting a liquid from a liquid storage vessel, a liquid and its vapor are provided in liquid storage vessel. The liquid is extracted by a pump from the storage vessel and fed as a liquid flow to a consumer unit. A defined partial flow is separated from the liquid flow downstream of the pump. The pressure of the partial flow is reduced by a pressure regulation means and the partial flow is evaporated by an evaporator. The evaporated partial flow is fed back into the storage vessel.

  • Publication number: 20180346139
Abstract: A method and an architecture for implementing the method for the management of a hybrid thermal/electrical propulsion aircraft in the course of its various flight phases. The hybrid propulsion receives at each instant i a total power command Ptot, com,i distributed between thermal Pth,com,i and electrical Pe,com,i power commands. The method includes steps of calculating a maximum admissible thermal power command Pth,com, max,i for compliance with acoustic objectives on the ground, selecting the thermal power command Pth,com,i in a bounded range of values, determining the electrical power command Pe,com,i. The thermal Pth,com,i and electrical Pe,com,i power commands supplied by the hybrid propulsion are thus adjusted in the course of the different flight phases depending on a height hi of the aircraft in order to make it possible to comply with acoustic requirements on the ground.
