Publication number: 20240082508Abstract: A Hypodermic Needle Safety Guard intended for sharps prevention and safer hypodermic needle use during all stages of an injection process. The Safety Guard may include two symmetrically positioned multi-featured arms that include spring tension, multiple hinges and needle locks. These arms may connect a proximal Luer body and a distal alignment tip thereby enabling the guard to open, close and lock on a needle when manual pressure is applied. The Guard position during hypodermic needle use tends to prevent sharps injury by adjusting the exposure of the Needle tip.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Applicant: FGC Holdings LimitedInventors: Peter Friedmann, Jonathan Liberty

Patent number: 9635933Abstract: An overbed table wherein a flex top (40) is selectively coupled to a table top frame (38). Flex top (40) has fasteners (118, 120) that engage openings (114, 116) in the table top frame. Flex top (40) also includes pins (74, 76) that cooperate with stops (78, 80, 82, 84) that are defined in tracks (50, 52). When pins (74, 76) are seated on first stops (78, 80) flex top is planar. When pins (74, 76) are seated on other stops (82, 84) panels (54, 56) form a peak (86) that is ergonomically favored for certain activities and uses.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2015Date of Patent: May 2, 2017Assignee: G-Tracking, LLCInventors: Howard S. Publication number: 20140110300Abstract: A food tray has upper and lower tray shaped members and an informational insert sandwiched between them for viewing of an informational display of the insert through a transparent or translucent window portion of at least one of the tray-shaped members. Two interlocking mechanisms are operable to reliably secure the tray members to one another when engaged together by sliding of the lower tray member into place along an underside of the upper tray member. The insert includes a rear wall portion disposed between upstanding rear walls of the tray members, and a height of the upper tray member is reduced at a front edge thereof to provide optimal viewing of the opposing rear wall portion of the insert. A seal positively positioned in a groove of the lower tray member provides a water tight seal between the tray members to protect the informational insert.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2013Publication date: April 24, 2014Inventors: Gregory Lipschitz, Kyle Boult, Jonathan Liberty, Leo Zhang

Publication number: 20060232570Abstract: A signaling pen of improved construction includes an actuator that functions generally independent of a bias and stop arrangement. Preferably an antenna is fixed to a PCB board secured within a body. This provides an efficient signal communication path. Preferably the PCB board is secured within an inner casing that also houses the ON/OFF actuator. An extension of the displaceable pen tip extends into said casing and controls the ON/OFF actuator.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2005Publication date: October 19, 2006Inventors: Ki Yuen, Xiaoyu Zhou, Jonathan Liberty

Patent number: 6768860Abstract: The invention relates to replaceable modules for use in optical fiber distribution racks. The modules according to the present invention are mounted in the distribution rack at a slight angle, which enables a simple and effective latching mechanism to connect and disconnect the module therefrom using one hand. Moreover, a preferred embodiment of the present invention minimizes the required size of the module by positioning the input ports at an angle to the remainder of the module body, which has the added benefit of directing the attached cables away from the latching mechanism providing enfettered access thereto. The optical fiber distribution rack according to the present invention includes a sliding lower tray with a sliding upper frame member, whereby full access to both the tray and the frame member are provided.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2002Date of Patent: July 27, 2004Assignee: JDS Uniphase Inc.Inventor: Jonathan Liberty

Patent number: 6443633Abstract: A package for an optical device comprising two mating sections, each section including a rigid outer protective shell and a resilient inner body. The package is easily clamped together using snap clips, which are integral with the rigid outer protective shells. Preferably, strain relief is provided integrated on each end of the resilient bodies.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2001Date of Patent: September 3, 2002Assignee: JDS Uniphase Inc.Inventors: Jonathan Liberty, Gary S. Publication number: 20020021876Abstract: To ensure the best optical coupling during the assembly of optical devices, such as WDM couplers, the elements making up the optical device are mounted with their longitudinal axes offset from each other, resulting in no two devices having identical structures. Moreover, it is also common for one of the elements to have a larger diameter than another. Therefore, it is very difficult to provide a package that will be satisfactory for every one of the optical devices. Furthermore, current manufacturing techniques require labor intensive steps that include one or more gluing or welding steps. Accordingly, the present invention provides an optical package that is suitable for optical devices with slightly varying structures, and that can be assembled relatively quickly and easily. The present invention relates to a package for an optical device, comprising two mating sections, each section including a rigid outer protective shell, and a resilient inner body.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2001Publication date: February 21, 2002Inventors: Jonathan Liberty, Gary S. Patent number: 6076317Abstract: Workstations are defined using a combination of office panels and bridge arrangements which are attached to and project at an angle from a spine of office panels. The office panel frames which partially define a workstation provide the convenience of power and communication cabling within the panel frames. The bridge arrangements provide a lower cost alternative defining other walls of the workstation while also providing a system which can be rearranged easily. The bridge arrangements are preferably self supporting in an upright orientation and can easily be detached from a horizontal securing channel of an office panel frame and moved to a new position.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 1997Date of Patent: June 20, 2000Assignee: Teknion Furniture Systems LimitedInventors: John Hellwig, Jonathan Liberty, Lorie Marangoni

Patent number: 5881191Abstract: A device for releasably mounting an adapter designed for coupling two fiberoptic connectors, e.g. SC connectors, has a body with a cavity sized to match the outside profile of the adapter when inserted in said cavity for a securely captive position. The adapter has two outside spring clips. The cavity has a bottom wall, two side walls, an upper wall and two detentes disposed to engage the spring clips when the adapter is fully inserted into the cavity. A leaf spring is disposed at the bottom of the cavity and is adapted to bias the adapter towards the upper wall of the cavity whereby the spring clips engage the detentes. The bottom wall and the spring are designed to form an enlargement of the cavity in the front part thereof when the spring is depressed, the enlargement enabling a manual tilting of the adapter causing a disengagement of the clips with the detentes whereby the adapter can be removed.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 1997Date of Patent: March 9, 1999Assignee: JDS Fitel Inc.Inventor: Jonathan Liberty
