    Abstract: A cross-flow interconnect and a fuel cell stack including the same, the interconnect including fuel inlets and outlets that extend through the interconnect adjacent to opposing first and second peripheral edges of the interconnect; an air side; and an opposing fuel side. The air side includes an air flow field including air channels that extend in a first direction, from a third peripheral edge of the interconnect to an opposing fourth peripheral edge of the interconnect; and riser seal surfaces disposed on two opposing sides of the air flow field and in which the fuel inlets and outlets are formed. The fuel side includes a fuel flow field including fuel channels that extend in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, between the fuel inlets and outlets; and a perimeter seal surface surrounding the fuel flow field and the fuel inlets and outlets.

The pedestal has a hollow interior for housing a whirlpool pumping apparatus and other fixtures, for example a drain control. A removable access panel is located on the top of the pedestal to permit access to the pedestal interior for servicing the whirlpool pumping apparatus and other fixtures. The seat is positioned to cover the access panel when it is in position on top of the pedestal, and is hinged on the access panel so that the seat may be easily pivoted forward to access the pedestal for cleaning.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for providing a comfortable and esthetically pleasing seat in a whirlpool tub enclosure in which the seat doubles as a removable cover to allow access to the pump. The invention lies in the structure of the seat in which an indentation in the seat's side edge permits a bolt to be retained by a nut. The attachment can be secured below the surface of the seat to provide a comfortable sitting surface, while allowing access to the whirlpool mechanism when needed.
