  • Publication number: 20230035635
Abstract: Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, and apparatus for enabling dynamic configuration of devices using encumbered shared spectrum (e.g., CBSDs using CBRS) so as to operate these devices in accordance with a most preferred operator preference of a plurality of operator preferences currently available in view of current wireless operating conditions, such as impacted by overlapping/proximate incumbent or priority users of the shared spectrum, or other changes in spectrum available conditions. Various embodiments further provide for an efficient return of these devices to a most preferred operator preference or steady-state configuration.

  • Patent number: 9445421
Abstract: A method and system are described for managing radio frequency layer priority settings for radio access network nodes in a mobile wireless network. A programmed server is configured with an initial configuration of the trigger definitions and corresponding radio frequency layer priority settings. Thereafter, the programmed server applies current conditions bearing upon a conditional area to a conditional area trigger definition. The programmed server then issues, based upon the application of the current conditions to the conditional area trigger definition, a message to re-designate radio frequency layer priority settings for a cell. The programmed server thereafter receives network characteristics feedback.

  • Patent number: 8401517
Abstract: A method for managing service quality provided by a mobile wireless network including a population of base station transceivers and associated antennas at a radio frequency interface to mobile wireless devices is described. The method includes acquiring data volume and connection attempts demand information from the base station transceivers. The data volume and connection attempts demand parameter values are analyzed to render statistical values for these two types of demand parameter values. Thereafter, trigger points for data volume and data connection attempts demand are established based upon the statistical values for these two respective types of demand information. The data volume and connection attempts demand trigger points are applied, respectively, to the individual data volume demand parameter values and the individual connection attempts demand parameter values to render a list of transceivers having parameter values exceeding both the data volume and connection attempts demand trigger points.

  • Patent number: 5924089
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture which provides for the display of database management information on a computer in a user-friendly way to minimize errors and maximize database usership. The invention displays a window in a graphical user interface on a computer display. The window allows the user to enter database tables, fields, and database commands selected from a displayed menu. The window also displays a natural language translation of the current status of the database command, allowing the user to see, in real time, the scope of the request and the databases affected.

  • Patent number: 5842209
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture which provides for visually depicting join relationships in a database management system. The method comprises the steps of visually depicting join relationships on a monitor coupled to a computer and receiving a join command from a user input device into the computer, wherein the join command selectively chooses a join relationship. The join relationships are visually depicted in a window displaying matching records in a first table joined to matching records in a second table, all records in a first table joined to matching records in a second table, and matching records in a first table joined to all records in a second table.

  • Patent number: 5787418
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture which provides for finding database management information on a computer in a simple, user-friendly way to minimize errors and maximize database usership. The invention displays a window containing a card metaphor in a graphical user interface on a computer display. The window allows the user to enter a find type and a find condition selected from a displayed menu. The window also displays a natural language description of the current status of the find request, allowing the user to see, in real time, the scope of the request and the databases affected.
