  • Patent number: 9984126
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for identifying data items to display in a feed of an enterprise social networking system. A first subset of data items is identified as associated with an inner circle of data sources with which a user interacts at or exceeding a designated frequency, a second subset of data items is identified as associated with an interest graph associated with the user, and a third subset of data items is identified as associated with a group or an organization. A highlights feed can be displayed with different channels, where a first channel is defined by the first subset of data items, a second channel is defined by the second subset of data items, and a third channel is defined by the third subset of data items.

  • Patent number: 9910911
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer readable storage media for filtering content to be displayed in an online social network. Highlights from a plurality of highlight sources relevant to a first user can be received. Topics or other subject matter associated with the received highlights can be identified and social network data to be presented to the first user can be determined based on the identified subject matter. In some implementations, data indicating the determined social network data can be generated and provided to a display device associated with the first user. A presentation including a reference to the determined social network data can be displayed on the display device.

  • Patent number: 9811597
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable storage media for identifying topical influence in an online social network. In some implementations, an entity associated with a feed item is identified. A topic associated with the entity or with the feed item is also identified. The entity can be determined to be a topical influencer regarding the topic in the online social network based on one or more factors, such as a factor indicating dissemination of information associated with the identified topic to other entities. A display device can be configured to display information indicating the determination that the entity is a topical influencer of the identified topic.

  • Publication number: 20150263197
Abstract: A photovoltaic device includes a substrate and has a transparent conductive oxide layer, a conductive back layer, and at least one intermediate semiconductor layer formed thereon. An isolation scribe divides and electrically isolates the oxide layer, the back layer and the semiconductor layer to define two photovoltaic cells. A conductor extends across the isolation scribe and connects the back layer of one photovoltaic cell to the oxide layer of the other photovoltaic cell.

  • Publication number: 20150206789
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of modifying a polysilicon layer, which includes the following steps. A polysilicon layer is provided. Nitrogen is incorporated into the polysilicon layer toward a predetermined depth. The polysilicon layer incorporated with nitrogen is etched, wherein after the nitrogenized polysilicon is removed, the formation of the remaining polysilicon layer is nearly indistinguishable from the formation of the polysilicon layer.

  • Publication number: 20140337436
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer program products for identifying relevant feed items to display in a feed of an enterprise social networking system. A plurality of data items from one or more of a plurality of data sources may be identified as relevant to a user by satisfying one or more relevancy parameters comprising: a data source providing the data item being one of an inner circle of data sources, content of the data item being identifiable using an interest graph associated with the user, the data item comprising a mention of the user, and the data item being designated as relevant to a group or an organization with which the user is associated. A highlights feed can include the identified data items as feed items. The feed items can be arranged according to a determined characteristic of each data item.

  • Publication number: 20140101247
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer readable storage media for determining and presenting user sentiment about data in an online social network. Indications of user sentiment about data in the online social network can be received from one or more first users. The indications can be analyzed and validated to determine an assessment of user sentiment about the social network data. In some implementations, a notification reporting the assessed user sentiment can be generated and provided to a display device associated with a second user. The notification can be configured to be displayed in a presentation on the display device with reference to an identification of the social network data.
