Abstract: A computer chassis assembly having a base with a plurality of connectors and guides is adapted to snap into and out of a universal mounting bracket. The chassis assembly further includes a midsection adapted to house a plurality of computer subcomponents which are removable without tools, the midsection being snapably removable from the base. The chassis assembly also includes a cover that is snapably removable from the midsection, which when removed, allows repair access to computer hardware subcomponents housed within the midsection.

The back unit includes a universal mechanical and electrical connection to front units with specific hardware and/or network applications. A front unit with desired network applications is coupled to the back unit to establish a network connection to the front unit and enable the network applications. Abstract: A network system installed within a residence provides digital media and simulates a user environment. State devices located throughout a residence generate state data indicative of operation. A state device may be a digital media adapter to allow a non-IP enabled device to receive and play digital media. A server communicates with the state devices to deliver digital media content and to receive state data. The server includes simulation applications that generate a simulated model of the home environment and predict likely events. The server conveys commands to the state devices to take actions to improve the environment for users.
