  • Publication number: 20240184486
Abstract: A storage device may determine write throughput based on a plurality of write commands received from the outside of the storage device, and write target data write-requested from the outside to a first memory area including one or more of a plurality of first type memory blocks or a second memory area including one or more of a second type memory blocks according to whether the write throughput is greater than or equal to a threshold throughput. The first type memory blocks may operate at a higher speed than the second type memory blocks.

  • Publication number: 20240174795
Abstract: Provided are a biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic polyester copolymer having excellent hydrolysis resistance and high viscosity which has a carboxyl end group (CEG) content of 15 mg KOH/g or less, a ratio (Mz/Mn) of a z-average molecular weight (Mz) to a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 3 to 15, and a melt index (MI) of 5 g/10 min or less as measured under conditions of a temperature of 190° C. and a load of 2.16 kg in accordance with ASTM D 1238. A method of preparing a biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic polyester copolymer is provided, including adding a chain extender and an anti-hydrolysis agent to an aliphatic-aromatic polyester pre-copolymer over time, whereby a significant viscosity rise and improvement of hydrolysis resistance may be implemented simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20240176747
Abstract: A storage device may load, between a first time point at which information on candidate memory regions among a plurality of memory regions is started to be sent to an external device and a second time point at which a command requesting a map segment for a target memory region among the plurality of memory regions is received from the external device, all or a part of map segments corresponding to the candidate memory regions into a buffer.

  • Publication number: 20240143168
Abstract: A storage device may get a timestamp when a timestamp getting condition is satisfied, may determine a retention time of a target super memory block according to time information calibrated on the basis of the timestamp, and may determine whether to select the target super memory block as a victim memory block for a target operation, on the basis of the determined retention time.

  • Patent number: 11940368
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for pre-detecting a defective porous polymer substrate for a separator, including selecting a porous polymer substrate having a plurality of pores; observing the selected porous polymer substrate with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to obtain an image of the porous polymer substrate; quantifying the average value of pore distribution index (PDI); correcting the quantified average value of pore distribution index to obtain the corrected average value of pore distribution index; determining whether or not the corrected average value of pore distribution index is 60 a.u. (arbitrary unit) or less; and classifying the porous polymer substrate as a good product, when the corrected average value of pore distribution index is determined to be 60 a.u. or less, and classifying the porous polymer substrate as a defective product, when the corrected average value of pore distribution index is determined to be larger than 60 a.u.

  • Patent number: 6537374
Abstract: A method and a system for cooling a steel strip are disclosed. A high water volume mist cooler and a low water volume mist cooler are disposed along a direction in which the steel strip travels. The high water volume mist cooler sprays high water volume mists onto the surfaces of the steel strip to cool the steel strip, and then the low water volume mist cooler sprays low water volume mists onto the surfaces of the steel strip to cool the steel strip, thereby cooling the steel strip while suppressing the influence of transition boiling, to prevent the steel strip from having a temperature-nonuniform portion.
