  • Patent number: 11932214
Abstract: Disclosed are a parking actuator and an electromechanical brake including the same. The parking actuator, which is connected to a brake actuator that performs braking of a vehicle, includes a parking gear connected to the brake actuator to be rotatable together, a parking lever having one side hingedly fixed and the other side engaged with the parking gear, a parking motor provided to generate power, a power conversion unit including a spindle member rotating by receiving a rotational driving force of the parking motor and a nut member screwed to the spindle member to move forward or backward, and a pressing unit installed on the nut member to press the parking lever by the nut member moved forward or backward.

  • Patent number: 11885385
Abstract: Disclosed herein a electromechanical brake includes a power converter including a nut provided in a cylinder portion of a caliper housing slidably coupled to a carrier and configured to rotate by receiving a driving force from an actuator, and a spindle connected to the nut and configured to move forward or backward by rotation of the nut in a first direction or a second direction; a pressing member coupled to a front side of the spindle and configured to press a pad plate; and a position adjuster screwed into the cylinder portion so that the power converter is mounted and configured to adjust a relative position of the caliper housing in response to an operation of the power converter.

  • Publication number: 20220242384
Abstract: Provided is an electromechanical brake system comprising an actuator of an electromechanical brake operated by a motor, the electromechanical brake system including: a motor driving unit configured to drive the motor; and a control unit configured to be electrically connected to the motor driving unit, wherein the control unit is configured to: calculate a first rotation angle of a spindle in a brake apply mode of the electromechanical brake, calculate a second rotation angle of the spindle in a braking release mode of the electromechanical brake, and when a difference between the calculated first rotation angle and the calculated second rotation angle exists, control a notification device to notify a wear state of a brake pad.

  • Patent number: 7493986
Abstract: An electric power steering apparatus for an automobile includes a reduction mechanism having a worm shaft and a worm wheel, the worm shaft having a worm formed on an outer peripheral surface of the worm shaft, the worm shaft being contained in a housing, the worm wheel being formed on a side of the steering shaft, the reduction mechanism being driven by the motor; a support member for enclosing an end-side outer peripheral surface of the worm shaft; and an elastic member for applying elastic force to the support member in a direction slanted away from an axial direction of the worm shaft. The gap between the worm wheel and the worm shaft is compensated for and backlash is avoided. Since a single elastic member is used, the number of components is reduced, the manufacturing process is simplified, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
