    Abstract: An axially short solenoid type electric generator comprising a stator attached on the inner circumferential surface of the left half of a short cylindrical case, and a rotor accommodated within the right half of the case. The stator comprises U-shaped magnetic metal blocks attached along the inner circumferential surface of the left half of the case, angularly separated at predetermined intervals, an output conductor (coil) wound in a short solenoid through the slots of the blocks, and magnetic short circuit blocks disposed between the channel-shaped blocks. The rotor comprises a centrifugal fan, a cylindrical supporter, U-shaped magnetic material blocks attached around the cylindrical supporter, and a field coil wound through the slots of opposing U-shaped blocks. The electric generator reduces the resistance loss of the coils, and the eddy current loss and hysteresis loss of the magnetic metals.
