  • Patent number: 10497157
Abstract: A system for grouping image annotations is disclosed. A display unit (1) is arranged for displaying a plurality of medical images relating to a subject (5) comprising a representation of an anatomical object. An annotation unit (2) is arranged for receiving information regarding input of a plurality of annotations (3) of the plurality of medical images via a user interface (4), wherein each annotation comprises geometric information relative to an image of the plurality of medical images. A grouping unit (4) is arranged for detecting a group of annotations among the plurality of annotations, based on the geometric information and a set of rules that define general properties of geometric relationships of annotations (3) that belong to the same object. The detecting of the group of annotations is further based on a geometric relationship between the plurality of medical images.

  • Patent number: 10474742
Abstract: A system for creating a longitudinal view of patient findings includes a natural language processing engine which extracts clinical findings from a clinical document. A temporal resolution engine determines which other clinical documents the clinical findings belong to. A visualization graphical user interface indicates the correlation of the clinical findings between the clinical document and the other clinical documents. The natural language processing engine also links one or more images to the clinical findings.

  • Publication number: 20180092696
Abstract: A medical diagnostic reporting system monitors a diagnostician's activities performed on medical images while developing a diagnosis, extracts image context and relevant data based on these activities, then transforms the relevant data into a structured narrative based on the image context. The structured narrative is presented to the diagnostician in a non-intrusive manner, and allows the diagnostician to select whether to insert the structured narrative into the ongoing diagnostic report.

  • Publication number: 20100269064
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of navigating in a series of related images, comprising the steps of creating and storing one or more navigational entities, each navigational entity relating to an object depicting one or more images of the series of related images; and facilitating navigation within said series of related images by means of said navigational entities; wherein each navigational entity is created based on segmentation of the object depicted in the one or more images and on identification of the segmented object. This provides for user-friendly and fast navigation within a large set of related images, e.g. medical images. The invention moreover relates to a corresponding apparatus and computer program product.
