One embodiment includes a system for peer-to-peer gaming, the system comprising an at least one gaming client, wherein the at least one gaming client is configured to accept a selection of an at least one gaming option from a player, and allow the player to play a game based on the selection of the at least one gaming option; an administration server, wherein the administration server is configured to receive the selection of the at least one gaming option from the at least one gaming client, and initiate the game for the player based on the selection of the at least one gaming option; and an at least one gaming server, wherein the at least one gaming sever is configured to run the game and transmit data about the game to the administration server.

The block entries each comprise a plurality of data portions and data access guidelines are received which govern access by a user to one or more of the data portions. A request to view one or more data portions of a block entry is received from the user. The data access guidelines for the user are applied to the request and the one or more data portions that are accessible by the request according to the data access guidelines are identified. A customized view of the block entry is generated which includes the one or more data portions determined to be accessible by the request.

A transactional request for an operating system instruction is received from a user device in a distributed network of nodes. The transactional request is authenticated in the distributed network of nodes based on data associated with the transactional request. A blockchain is then evaluated for one or more scripts associated with the transactional request. In response, the operating system instruction is generated based on the one or more scripts. The operating system instruction is then transferred to the user device in the distributed network or nodes.

Abstract: Mechanisms for detection of gambling rule violations including assisted and automated gameplay are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system can determine a geographic location of a player terminal. A selection of multiple games (e.g., games of skill and games of chance) which are authorized to be played in the geographic location can be presented. Gaming action from a game selected by the player can be depicted on a display and inputs from a player can be received via a player interaction display area during a course of the game to control game play. Before converting a credit total into a monetary value, the game can be monitored or reviewed to identify any collusion (e.g., two or more players sharing information or using combined knowledge to create an unfair advantage, automated gameplay, etc.).

More specifically, the technology describes techniques for assessing risk associated with expediting processing of blockchain transactions received by a transaction processing platform. When a determination is made that a transaction can be expedited, the transaction processing platform can expedite the transaction, e.g., locally process the blockchain transaction, prior to receiving a verification or confirmation from the consensus network. In this manner, the transaction processing platform can act like a local cache allowing quick access and operation on permanently stored data within the blockchain with minimal or calculated risk.
