  • Publication number: 20240145078
Abstract: Embodiments provided herein facilitate the monitoring and management of regular healthcare tasks for patients in a healthcare system, e.g., “nurse rounding” tasks. These embodiments include providing a button or other activator that is associated with a patient and a timer that is associated with the patient and that represents the time since a rounding task was last performed for the patient. Activation of the activator by a nurse or other healthcare provider causes the patient's timer to reset. The status of the timers for a number of patients can be provided on a display, e.g., at a nurse station, to allow nurses or other healthcare providers to know at a glance which patients are currently, or likely to soon become, in need of another rounding care visit. The activator output can also be automatically registered in order to monitor performance of rounding tasks for the patient over time.

  • Patent number: 11697340
Abstract: An electrical portal wheel hub system is coupled with a wheel and has an electric motor/generator, such as an axial flux motor configured therein and configured to provide power or torque to drive the wheel. The electric motor may be offset vertically from the rotational axis of the wheel to provide additional ground clearance. The electric motor may drive an input gear that is coupled with an output gear that in turns drives the wheel mount and wheel. The gearing ratio can be selected based on the application. A drive axle may from the vehicle may couple with the electric motor and the electric motor may be used to provide supplemental power to drive the wheels. The hub casing may provide mounts for the upper and lower A-arms as well as for a steering arm. The electric motor may act as a generator to charge a battery.

  • Patent number: 11563748
Abstract: Application permissions can be set in a cloud computing environment based on a user's authorization level in the cloud computing environment. For example, a system can determine that a user has a particular authorization level in a cloud computing environment. The system can determine that the user is to have particular permissions for a continuous integration tool by mapping the particular authorization level to the particular permissions. The system can then set a permission setting for the continuous integration tool to limit the user to the particular permissions.

  • Patent number: 11555569
Abstract: A utility coupler that includes a coupling unit and a tool unit that can be selectively engaged together. The coupling unit may include a body, a cam member, a handle, and one or more utility couplings. The tool unit may include a body, a latching pin, and one or more utility couplings. In operation, the coupling unit may be placed into a decoupled position with the handle in a first position. The coupling unit may be moved into proximity of the tool unit. The handle may be moved to a second position causing the cam member to engage with the latching pin and couple the coupling unit to the tool unit. The utility couplings engage together to pass the one or more utilities to the industrial equipment.

  • Publication number: 20210284303
Abstract: Underwater Deployable Structures (UDSs) capable of achieving inflation via mechanical pumps, moisture-activated expanding foams, water swelling material, or a hybrid of a mechanical pump and water swelling material. Moisture expanding foams begin as polyurethane-based resins of low viscosity, and react in the presence of water to become solid foam. In their final forms, the foams exist as open- or closed-cell, and vary in strength, elasticity, and rigidity. Water swelling material is also disclosed wherein the water swelling material is capable of achieving expansion numerous (e.g., up to about 250) times its initial volume when in contact with water and can shrink back to its initial volume upon dehydration, making the UDSs reusable. A mechanical pump may optionally be used to assist in initial inflation until the water swelling material reaches full expansion.
