  • Publication number: 20070286730
Abstract: A device for measuring the displacement travel of a hydraulic displacement mechanism for blades of an impeller of an axial-flow fan, wherein the displacement mechanism includes as components a displacement cylinder and a piston rod having a piston, one of the components being axially displaceable and the other component not being axially displaceable. Respective spindles of the blades are secured to a displacement disk to which is connected the axially to displaceable component of the displacement mechanism. An oil transfer element surrounds an extension of the piston rod that extends out of the displacement cylinder. A magnetostrictive displacement-measuring device that includes a sensor housing with a wave guide, sensor head, and an annular magnet is coupled to the displacement mechanism. The sensor housing and the sensor head are connected to the oil transfer element. Either the oil transfer element or one of the displacement mechanism components is axially displaceable relative to the other component.

  • Publication number: 20060284730
Abstract: A medical device includes a medical instrument with a transponder detachably fixed to the medical device. The transponder serves as a data medium about specific information of the medical instrument. The medical device further includes a data exchange mechanism for exchanging data with the transponder. When a medical treatment is to be performed, the medical instrument is placed to a receiving mechanism for receiving the medical instrument separated from the transponder, while the transponder is placed to the data exchange mechanism which is placed locally apart or locally placed different from the receiving mechanism so that disadvantageous influences of the medical treatment do not affect the transponder.

Abstract: In a method, a computer and a computer program for administration of a resource containing resource data for use in a resource-based document data stream that includes variable document data, at least one internal resource and/or at least one call on an external resource, the document data stream is subject to a parsing event in which it is checked for consistency with predetermined rules. In addition to a resource name, an identification datum is thereby associated with the resource, the identification datum unambiguously identifying the resource relative to all other resources of the document data stream. For representation of the document data on a reproduction device, the resource is called once or multiple times by means of the resource name and/or the identification datum within the document data stream.

  • Patent number: 4736208
Abstract: A device for measuring the contour of a surface along a scanning line. The device includes an electro-mechanical transducer with a scanner arm on whose free end there is a sensing tip. The other end of the arm is connected, via a pivot bearing whose axis of rotation is parallel to the surface to be scanned and vertical to the scanning line, with an advance mechanism. The advance mechanism moves the pivot bearing along the scanning line. The transducer emits, corresponding to excursions of the sensing tip transverse to the scanning line, a measurement signal that is fed into a recording device. The recording device records the electrical signal on the basis of distance or time. A control device is provided into which the electrical measurement signal is fed. On the basis of the magnitude of the electrical measurement signal, the control device produces an advance or a lag of the advance mechanism or of the time axis of the recording device relative to the advance of the advance mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4495351
Abstract: A method is disclosed for production of 1-alkyl-4(1H)-oxo-cinnolin-3-carboxylic acids. Mesoxalic acid dialkylester-3,4-methylenedioxy-phenylhydrazone is saponified using 1 to 1.5 Mol alkali into the corresponding monoalkylester, which is cyclicized with a Friedel-Crafts catalyst in the presence of a carboxylic acid anhydride into 6,7-methylenedioxy-4(1H)-oxo-cinnolin-3-carboxylic acid alkylester, which is alkylated with a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl halogenide in the presence of alkali in a suitable solvent, after which the ester is saponified. Small amounts of byproduct alkylated in the 2-position are removed by brief heating and precipitation from alkaline solution, leaving a pure 1-alkyl product. The product is useful for the treatment of urinary tract infections.

  • Patent number: 4494101
Abstract: The laminations of a stack that form an iron core for a magneto armature are provided with wart-like deformations produced by through-stamping, so that pressing the stack together will provide a press-fit at the locations of the deformations. The core is mounted by screws through mounting holes respectively in the yoke and at the end of one leg of an E-shaped core, while the press-fits produced by superposed deformations hold the rest of the core together against warping and twisting. Protuberances from the annular cup casing, which contains the winding mounted on the middle leg of the core, grasp the lamination stack in a region remote from the mounting holes to prevent the press-fit locking of the laminations from loosening.
