Patent number: 11952850Abstract: The upper head assembly includes a main body, a retractable body, a support element and a rear element. A fluid control means is provided for increasing the passage of fluid during the descent into the well are disposed on the main body and comprise a closure/opening body that selectively permits fluid to pass through a bypass chamber inside the main body, in a working position, or through an area of rapid descent that facilitates the passage by following a path, during descent. The fluid bypass chamber is formed by a central chamber with inlet ports and outlet ports that allow a connection of fluid between the central chamber and the outside of the main body. The closure/opening body blocks the flow through the area of rapid descent when the working position is reached.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: BOYLES BROS DIAMANTINA S.A.Inventors: Guillermo Ricardo Weston Zanelli, Jorge Alonso Fernandez Gonzales, Renzo Ronald Matias Caytuero, Alex Ramiro Maguina Trujillo

Publication number: 20220275584Abstract: Disclosed are multi-ply embossed tissue products having improved softness, strength, embossment clarity and/or embossment height compared to prior art embossed tissue products. The multi-ply tissue products may comprise an embossed tissue ply having a basis weight less than about 25 grams per square meter (gsm) and relatively deep embossments, such as an embossment height from about 500 to about 1,000 ?m and relatively narrow bottom portions compared to top portions. The combination of these elements provides an aesthetically pleasing and well-defined embossment, while improving important tissue product properties such as sheet and roll bulk and softness.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 9, 2022Publication date: September 1, 2022Inventors: Tsutama Satake Neto, Jorge Alonso Duran, Patricia Câmara Mileo

Patent number: 11125500Abstract: Hot air drying is an intensive energy consuming process, 5000-8000 kJ per kg of water. More efficient processes produce low drying rates or cannot totally dry the product because they do not integrate the four drying phases, warm up, constant drying, falling drying and aeration and do not handle dripping. To reduce the energy consumption, the exhausted mix of air and vapor is used as working fluid to drive each phase, and the dripping is collected before it goes back to the product. This fluid is compressed inside of a heat-exchanger to heat the product; however, the mix proportion, vapor and air, changes on each phase. For warm up phase, the working fluid is either hot air or condensed water; in constant phase, it is mostly vapor; in falling phase, it changes from vapor to air; and for aeration, it is air. Inlet and outlet valves control these proportions.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2018Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Inventor: Jorge Alonso Diaz

Patent number: 11124921Abstract: The present invention provides multi-ply tissue products having distinctly different first and second outer surfaces or sides. The two-sidedness is generally provided by forming one of the surfaces from a tissue ply having a plurality of macrofolds and the other side from a substantially planar tissue ply. The first ply may be attached to the second ply at transversely spaced apart points by a conventional means, such as crimping. Macrofolds, which may be differently sized and shaped, may generally have a wave-like structure with a transversely orientated void that extends between the spaced apart points of attachment. The combination of these elements provides a tissue product that is both aesthetically pleasing and well suited to cleaning due to the large amount of surface area created by the macrofolds.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2019Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Inventors: Tsutama Satake Neto, Jorge Alonso Duran, Patricia Camara Mileo, Alessandro Lopes, Marcelo Logiodice Cardoso

Patent number: 11111633Abstract: The present invention provides multi-ply tissue products having distinctly different first and second outer surfaces or sides. The two-sidedness is generally provided by forming one of the surfaces from a tissue ply having a plurality of macrofolds and the other side from a substantially planar tissue ply. The first ply may be attached to the second ply at longitudinally spaced apart points that define a macrofold therebetween. The length of tissue between the points of attachment may form a wave-like structure having an amplitude and wavelength and having a transversely orientated void that extends from a first edge to a second edge of the tissue. The combination of these elements provides a tissue product that is both aesthetically pleasing and well suited to cleaning due to the large amount of surface area created by the macrofolds.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2019Date of Patent: September 7, 2021Inventors: Tsutama Satake Neto, Patricia Camara Mileo, Jorge Alonso Duran
