    Abstract: The combustion turbine system comprises a fuel line connected to the combustor with a portion of the fuel line being disposed in heat transfer relationship with the exhaust gas from the combustion turbine so that the fuel may be heated by the exhaust gas prior to being introduced into the combustor. The system may also comprise a fuel by-pass control system for mixing unheated fuel with the heated fuel to control the temperature of the fuel being introduced into the combustor.
