  • Patent number: 11982162
Abstract: The present invention is related to a downhole device for hydrocarbon producing wells without conventional tubing (tubingless completion), which improves the hydrocarbon production (gas, oil and condensate), selectively controls produced solids (reservoir sand and hydraulic fracture proppant) and eliminates liquid loading. The device of the present invention is designed according to selected well and reservoir characteristics by an integral methodology which includes the stages: data collection and analysis of the well operating conditions, selection of candidate well, sampling and analysis of produced solids, simulation of production conditions, design and manufacture and installation.

  • Patent number: 10936865
Abstract: Method for identifying a cork stopper comprising: capturing an image of a surface of the cork stopper which is being illuminated tangentially to said surface; comparing the captured image to a database of previously stored images of cork stoppers; indicating whether the captured image matches one of the previously stored images of cork stoppers. It is also disclosed a device for identifying a cork stopper comprising an electronic data processor arranged to carry out said method. A kit comprises said device and an illuminator arranged for illuminating tangentially (grazing light) a surface of the cork stopper. The kit and the method can be used to easily identify cork stopper and bottle together thus making counterfeiting much harder.

  • Patent number: 9783117
Abstract: A vehicle cargo system includes a support fixed to a roof of the cargo system. The support has a first edge and a second edge. The vehicle cargo system further includes a plurality of protrusions intermittently disposed laterally across the support. The plurality of protrusions is rotatable about the first edge from a vertical to a horizontal position wherein rotating the hooks about the first edge toward the roof attaches the hooks to the second edge of the support. The protrusions allow the vehicle cargo system to support objects capable of being hung.

  • Publication number: 20150250188
Abstract: The present application relates to a device for the production of bread or pastry which comprises an assembly of single moulds combined with at least an assembly of individual internal wedges for the production of bread or pastry products with the arrangement of an internal space for filling. The said device allows for the leavening and later baking of bread pasta or pastry pasta with an empty internal space for filling, which can have the shape as desired by the end user. The said device comprises at least an external mould (1) a single mould standing upright, with upper and lower openings, a lower bracket (3), horizontal braces (2), an internal wedge (4) and an upper bracket (5). The wedge is located in an upright position and is closed at its bottom base and has an opening at the top part (4), joint one another with an upper bracket (5) with openings for venting (6) and vertical tabs (7) to be fitted with the assembly of external moulds.

  • Patent number: 5779785
Abstract: An aqueous slurry of smectite clay of elevated solids content, comprising an aqueous solution or emulsion of at least 0.2% by weight of said slurry of a salt of a low molecular weight amine salt, in which is dispersed from about 10 to 47% by weight of the slurry, of a smectite clay. The amine salt is effective to prevent the smectite from swelling appreciably, whereby the slurry can be shipped and stored without creating a gelling problem. The inhibiting or suppressing effect of the amine salt on the swelling of the clay and on gelling of the slurry is reversible upon subsequent dilution with water, thereby facilitating use of the smectite in typical applications, e.g. as a retention aid in paper making, or as a viscosifier.

  • Patent number: 5407480
Abstract: An aqueous slurry of smectite clay of elevated solids content, comprising an aqueous solution or emulsion of from about 0.5 to about 13% by weight of said slurry of a salt of a low molecular weight amine salt, in which is dispersed from about 10 to 47% by weight of the slurry, of a smectite clay. The amine salt is effective to prevent the smectite from swelling appreciably, whereby the slurry can be shipped and stored without creating a gelling problem.
