Patent number: 11905756Abstract: A window frame assembly for installation within a garage door having front and rear exposed surfaces and one or more window openings. The assembly includes front and rear window frame members which are installed within the door openings in the garage door. The front and rear members are brought toward each other to sandwich the borders of each of the window openings while also capturing an associated transparent pane. A series of fastening members are used to hold the front and rear frame members securely against each other. The front and rear window frame members are made of synthetic polymeric starting stock starting materials which, together with the transparent panes, are able to withstand hurricane force winds and associated blowing debris.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2021Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: National Door Industries, Inc.Inventors: James P. Publication number: 20170122288Abstract: The present invention relates to a cyclonic or anti-cyclonic conversion generator comprising a hollow and rigid structure (1) having at the upper end thereof diffusing deflectors (2) to produce a venturi effect and means for converting the kinetic energy of the outside wind into electrical energy, said hollow and rigid structure comprising: means for generating a primary flow (3) and means for generating a secondary flow (4) or vortex core, using convectors (5), (6); and means that facilitate the vertical movement of the primary flow and the secondary flow, using slopes that increase the peripheral flow (12) or a central protrusion or convex surface (11). The generator can be used for generating cyclones and anti-cyclones and can be used with any fluid, such as wind or water. The generator allows the speed of the fluid to be increased, concentrating said fluid on the periphery, which results in improved performance and effectiveness.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 3, 2014Publication date: May 4, 2017Inventors: MERCEDES GRACIA BOUTHELIER, FRANCISCO JAVIER PRIETO SANTIAGO, FRANCISCO JAVIER PRIETO GRACIA, IGNACIO PRIETO GRACIA, DAVID PRIETO GRACIA, MERCEDES PRIETO GRACIA, ANA PRIETO GRACIA, JORGE PRIETO GRACIA

Patent number: 9551255Abstract: A system for mixing ammonia (reductant) with engine exhaust includes an exhaust flow created by a vehicle engine, an ammonia feed line passing into the exhaust flow, an injector connected to the feed line and positioned within the exhaust flow, the injector having at least one port for discharging ammonia into the exhaust flow, and a mixing plate positioned within the exhaust flow downstream of the ammonia injector and stabilizing at least one of either the feed line and the injector. An aspect of the invention is to stabilize the injector by attaching the mixing plate to the feed line to provide such stability. Alternatively or additionally, the mixing plate is attached to the injector to stabilize. The feed line may even pass through the mixing plate.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2012Date of Patent: January 24, 2017Assignee: International Engine Intellectual Property Company, LLCInventors: Jeffrey R. Kelso, Jason B. Arriaga, Gregory A. Griffin, Timothy Taekhoon Yoon, Adam C. Lack, Navtej Singh, Ryan Andrew Wacker, Prasanna Nagabushan-Venkatesh, Jorge Prieto
