Publication number: 20230091003Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for providing for improved monitoring of an individual, wherein imaging data is received from a plurality of imaging sensors. The received imaging data is aggregated and patterns at targeted data segments of the aggregated imaging data are analyzed using one or more algorithms to determine one or more values. The one or more values determined from the analyzed patterns are classified to represent at least one of a physiological state determination or a positioning of the individual. Data corresponding to the classified one or more values is then output and displayed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 19, 2022Publication date: March 23, 2023Applicant: TurningMode, LLCInventors: Jorge Zapata, Carlos Eduardo Vargas Silva

Patent number: 11467389Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for effectively illuminating a target. The target may be in a confined field of view area. Such systems may mitigate shadows and lack of light homogeneity at surgical procedure settings, research sites, or other localized areas where humans may operate in a confined field of view area. One or more lighting modules can be disposed in a target area, for illumination of one or more illumination target locations in the confined field of view. An object detection component can detect an object or desired target in the target field of view location, and provide data indicative of the detected object/target to an illumination module adjustment component. Based on the data indicative of the detected object/target, the illumination module adjustment component can provide data indicative of an illumination adjustment to the first illumination module to provide desired illumination.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2019Date of Patent: October 11, 2022Assignee: GENTEX CORPORATIONInventors: Jorge Zapata, Carlos Eduardo Vargas Silva

Patent number: 8191190Abstract: When inserting a patient into a bore of a patient imaging device (e.g., CT, SPECT, PET, MRI, fMRI, etc.), a cantilevered pallet supported by an adjustable table deflects under the patient's weight. A pair of springs couples the table to first and second support arms, which are coupled to each other at a pivot point. A lever is coupled to the front end of the table and pivots on a fulcrum. A pair of wires are coupled to a rearward end of the lever and passed over respective pulleys before being coupled to a rearward portion of the table. A component of the patient's weight applied to the front edge of the table causes the lever to pivot on its fulcrum, raising the forward ends of the wires, which pass over the pulleys and pull the rearward end of the table downward to maintain the patient at a desired altitude and/or angle.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2009Date of Patent: June 5, 2012Assignee: Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.Inventor: Jorge Zapata
