  • Patent number: 9526202
Abstract: A self-propelled agricultural application machine (10) comprising a chassis (100) which carries a storage tank (15) for the material to be applied is provided. The chassis (100) comprises a central longitudinal beam (110) from which at least a pair of wheels (12, 14) are suspended. The narrow chassis (100) allows steerable wheels to be positioned at tolerable track widths while permitting a large steering angle and thus small turning radii.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 17, 2009
Date of Patent: December 27, 2016
    Assignee: AGCO Netherlands B.V
    Inventor: Joris Hiddema
  • Patent number: 8376078
Abstract: An agricultural application machine (10) comprising a pair of wheels (11, 12) each having an associated wheel support structure (22) is provided. Each wheel support structure is mounted to the chassis (60) by a transversely extending support shaft (29; 49) which is slidably mounted within a bearing block (50; 80). The provision of bearing blocks allows the transverse separation of the wheels to be varied with minimal sliding friction.

Date of Patent: February 19, 2013
    Assignee: AGCO Netherlands B.V.

  • Patent number: 7703699
Abstract: A beam (16) such as a spray bar of an agricultural sprayer (10) is pivotable about an axis (22) into an operating position. In the operating position, the bar is in contact with a stop (28) located on a two-legged lever (30), one leg (42) of which is acted upon by the beam (16) and the other leg (44) of which is acted upon by a energy storing mechanism (34).

  • Publication number: 20060011752
Abstract: Structure such as an agricultural, forestry or horticultural machine with a parallel bar linkage assembly (18) adjustably mounting an implement (20) such as a spray assembly for vertical movement relative to the ground. The linkage assembly includes a first and a second parallelogram (48, 50) having a first common link (30). A first portion (54) of the link (30) forms one side of the first parallelogram (48) and a second portion (58) of the link (30) forms one side of the second parallelogram (50). The two parallelograms (48, 50) save space and improve implement positioning and action radii as compared to conventional linkage constructions.
