  • Patent number: 11972095
Abstract: Various embodiments discussed herein enable client applications to be heavily integrated with a voice assistant in order to perform commands associated with voice utterances of users via voice assistant functionality and also seamlessly cause client applications to automatically perform native functions as part of executing the voice utterance. Such heavy integration also allows particular embodiments to support multi-modal input from a user for a single conversational interaction. In this way, client application user interface interactions, such as clicks, touch gestures, or text inputs are executed alternative or in addition to the voice utterances.

  • Patent number: 11947369
Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for operation and control of gravity-fed fluid flows in water and wastewater related systems. The disclosed flow control system uses gravity to provide a flow of a fluid from a fluid source and a motorized flow control device fluidically coupled to the fluid source to control a defined flow rate of the flow by changing a position of an internal volume of the flow control device through which the fluid flows relative to a fixed level of the fluid in the fluid source. The disclosed devices, systems and methods can be used in a wide variety of systems for environmental and low-energy demand applications such as, for example, a wastewater treatment system to control a flow of wastewater in the system.

  • Publication number: 20230365282
Abstract: An HPP system uses large polymer based bags (20) to increase the amount of food product or other flowable product that can fit into a HPP carrier (22). Each bag 20 has a filling fitment (24), to which a flow valve (26) can be attached. The bag (20) is inserted into the carrier (22) and then the fitment (24) is manually or automatically connected to a flow valve (26). Next, the product is pumped into the bag (20) through a hose or pipe (30) which is attached to the flow valve. Thereafter, the flow valve (26) is removed and the fitment closed, and then carrier (22) together with the bag is inserted into the HPP press for high pressure processing of the product. After the HPP process, the flow valve is used to un-fill the treated product from the bag (20).

  • Patent number: 11770436
Abstract: Methods and systems for handling web requests with latency awareness are described herein. A system may receive a web request from a web client, and determine, based on an exponential moving average of past response times, whether to allow the web request to be sent out to the server. Based on this determination, the system may send the web request to the server. The system may receive a response to the web request and update the exponential moving average based on the response time associated with the received response. The response may be forwarded back to the web client.
