Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for presenting at least one reference line on an electronic viewfinder. The system generally comprises an image capturing device and an electronic display; both operatively coupled to a processor. The processor may be configured to receive image data from the image capturing means and display that data on the electronic display so that the electronic display operates as an electronic viewfinder. The processor can be configured to also display one or more reference lines overlaying the image displayed on the viewfinder. The reference lines may be alterable by the user so that the user can better use the reference lines to help the user properly position the image capturing device when the user is capturing or preparing to capture an image.
