  • Publication number: 20240156596
Abstract: Systems and methods for securely connecting a loading assembly to a delivery apparatus for loading a prosthetic medical device into the delivery apparatus are disclosed. As one example, a medical system can include a delivery apparatus for implanting a prosthetic medical device in a patient's body and a loading system. The delivery apparatus can comprise a flexible shaft, a coupling attached to a distal end of the flexible shaft, and a delivery capsule coupled to the coupling and extending distally from the coupling. The loading assembly can comprise a loading capsule comprising a plurality of axially extending flexible members configured to couple to an outer surface of the coupling and flex radially outward and a collar disposed around the loading capsule and configured to lock the plurality of flexible members in engagement with the coupling such that the plurality of flexible members cannot flex radially outward.

  • Publication number: 20230252876
Abstract: Breathing naturally produces CO2, which means that the presence of people or animals inside the passenger compartment of a vehicle can be detected. In the presence of at least one occupant, in as little as five minutes, the concentration of carbon dioxide can become dangerous. To remediate high concentrations of carbon dioxide within the passenger compartment, a warning is provided that instructs any occupant to start the vehicle. Should the vehicle not be started within a predetermined period of time after the warning, certain automatic remediation actions are taken, provided that the battery of the vehicle retains enough power to start the vehicle. If the automatic remediation actions fail to lower the levels of carbon dioxide, then all available power is utilized to reduce the levels of carbon dioxide and to bring assistance to the occupants of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10902183
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of tagging a text, comprises: determining a value for each of a plurality of locations in a first vector; processing (402), by a trained first neural network component, the first vector to generate a second vector; processing (404), at a trained second neural network component, the second vector to generate a probability score for each of at least ten predetermined tags; determining (406) if each probability score meets a criterion; if the criterion is met, assigning (408) the tag corresponding to the probability score to the text. Each of the locations may correspond to a respective predetermined word, each value relating to existence and/or frequency of the corresponding word in the text, and the number of locations may be between 600 and 20000. The number of locations in the second vector may be fewer than the number of locations in the first vector and is from 100 to 5000.

  • Patent number: 10503834
Abstract: Certain examples are described that provide methods and systems for generating templates for use by a conversational agent. These examples enable a natural language interface to be provided. Certain examples cluster user and agent messages from a corpus of text data representing text dialogues. This clustering enables response templates to be generated in a way that takes into account a context in which responses are given. In certain examples, messages that are exchanged between a user and a conversational agent are embedded as numeric arrays based a neural sequence-to-sequence model. Clustering routines are used to group dialogue encodings into one or more response clusters, and these clusters may then be used to generate response templates. The response templates may be used by a conversational agent to prepare a response to a user message.

  • Patent number: 10494563
Abstract: A method for improving mobility of heavy crude oil in a subterranean reservoir is provided. A fluid formulation can be introduced into the reservoir, the fluid formulation comprising water and a surfactant, and optional co-solvents. The fluid formulation can produce one or more of a dispersion and an emulsion in the reservoir, whereby the surfactant acts as an dispersant or emulsifying agent, emulsifier and/or drag reducing agent. The emulsion or the dispersion can have a water external phase and a crude oil internal phase.

  • Publication number: 20180152693
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of reproducing images with a three-dimensional appearance, using for each eye a variable focal length lens and a display in which a sequence of images is reproduced at high speed, such that each image is broken down into image sections, associating a focal length of the lens with each image section, successively reproducing the image sections on the display, adjusting the focal length of each of them, to bring about the accommodation of the eye in focusing each reproduced image section.

  • Publication number: 20180089152
Abstract: This is provided a method of labelling a message or group of messages. An input is received (208) at a neural network (300, 302) including at least one recurrent layer, which may comprises LSTM memory blocks (300). The input comprising at least one word vector (xt), which represents at least one word in a message, and the at least one word vector defines a meaningful position in a word vector space. Typically the input is a sequence of word vectors corresponding to a sequence of words. The input is then processed to generate a plurality of network outputs. Each network output corresponds to a respective one of a plurality of labels. Based on the network outputs, a probability score for each of the labels is then generated (210). If it is determined (212) that at least one of the probability scores meets at least one criterion, the at least one label corresponding to the at least one probability score for which the at least one criterion is met is assigned (214) to the message.
