  • Patent number: 8123025
Abstract: The invention relates to a turnaround curve system for a chain conveyor system, having a chain having linear traction which is driven in turnaround sections by means of turnaround guides (7). The turnaround guides (7) have a geometry obtained by means of a family of curves corresponding to paths defined by six points (1-6), the six points (1-6) corresponding to six linkage positions of consecutive links of the chain in the turnaround sections. The system allows the turnaround sections to be more compact and extend the life of the rollers of the chain, since the rollers are subjected to smaller loads.

  • Patent number: 7735623
Abstract: The present invention is a linearly actuated rotating handrail system for escalators and moving walkways. The system includes a worm band or a handrail, having a first friction device on one side, a dragging device formed by a second friction device and coupled to the first friction device to drag the worm band in the displacement direction. The pressure device includes a first layer of kinematic support, formed by a crank, an articulated shaft, a driving connection rod, shafts and driven cranks. There is a second layer formed by traction rollers. The application of pressure to the worm band or handrail and its balanced distribution over the different pressure rollers is carried out by slides actuated by a distributor, tightened by an elastic system. The elastic system transmits the tension by a beam.

  • Publication number: 20100129141
Abstract: Transverse longitudinal joint comprising slats (11) with a main shaft (11e), a passable surface (11s), a functional surface (11f) opposite to the passable one (11s), connecting sides between the passable (11s) and the functional (11f) surfaces. Slats are mounted one after the other according to the main shaft (11e) to form a bellows structure, with a displacement movement without break in continuity with 2 degrees of freedom, so as to modify the bellows shape between an unfolded position and a folded position. Slats form a retractable surface (1). Each intermediate slat (11) has joining elements having: a male end (11A) in a first connecting side; a female end (11B) in a second connecting side, opposite to the first connecting side; the female end (11B) receives the male end (11A) of an adjacent slat (11).
