  • Patent number: 11889965
Abstract: A mechanism for the door of a domestic electrical appliance, for example a dishwasher, is described. The mechanism includes a door latch for holding the door closed, a latch opener mechanism, an electrically controlled actuator for displacing the latch opener mechanism, a movably arranged pusher, and a spring device for providing a spring force which acts on the pusher. The latch opener mechanism functions such that, when the door is closed, it can be transferred from an inactive position into an active position while at least partially overcoming a holding-closed action of the door latch. The movably arranged pusher is separate from the latch opener mechanism and is decoupled therefrom in terms of movement. After the holding-closed action of the door latch has been overcome, the spring drive allows the door to be pushed open by the pusher.

  • Publication number: 20240011327
Abstract: A domestic electrical appliance, for example a dishwasher, is disclosed, in which a door latch is installed in a profile strip of an appliance body. The door latch comprises a latch housing in which, in some embodiments, a rotary gripper and a leg-torsion spring serving as a closing spring are accommodated. In one embodiment, the door latch as a whole is displaceable in the profile strip in the strip longitudinal direction thereof in order to implement a self-healing function which allows the door to close even after the door latch has moved into a closed state without the door being closed. In another embodiment, a housing main part of the latch housing is mounted in a longitudinally fixed manner on the profile strip, but a housing cover of the latch housing is longitudinally displaceable relative to the housing main part, and the torsion spring and the rotary gripper are held on the housing cover.

  • Publication number: 20230258381
Abstract: An ice maker for a domestic refrigeration device includes an ice-making tray having a plurality of freezing cavities which are divided between multiple cavity rows arranged one behind the other in a first tray extension direction. Freezing cavities arranged adjacent to one another in pairs in the first tray extension direction are separated on a tray underside of the ice-making tray by an indentation. The ice maker also includes a wall element for delimiting, in a freezing operating position of the wall element relative to the ice-making tray, a cold air channel between the underside of the ice-making tray and the wall element, which cold air channel extends substantially over the entire length of the ice-making tray in the first tray extension direction. The wall element is designed with at least one air-deflecting formation which projects locally into the cold air channel.

  • Patent number: 11466916
Abstract: A device for selectively providing crushed or uncrushed ice includes a storage receptacle for storing uncrushed ice pieces, and a grinder, which is fed with ice pieces from the storage receptacle, for crushing the ice pieces. The grinder is concealed behind an end wall which is arranged on a side of the grinder that is opposite the storage receptacle. A mechanical switching element is associated with the grinder and can be switched between two working positions. In its first working position, ice pieces received from the storage receptacle are necessarily introduced into the operating range of the grinder and in its second working position a bypass passage is freed for ice pieces received from the storage receptacle past the grinder. The device also includes a movable adjusting element in mechanical adjusting connection with the switching element.

  • Patent number: 9677803
Abstract: An ice dispensing arrangement is particularly suited for a household refrigeration appliance. A flap can rotate between a first and a second distribution position. A motor actuates the flap via a transfer device. The transfer device has a rotating transfer element and a flap actuating device. The rotating transfer element is rotated between a first and a second position, in order to rotate the flap, by way of the flap actuation device, between the first and second distribution positions. The rotating transfer element is coupled to the flap actuation device so that the flap, in the first position of the rotating transfer element, is arranged in the first distribution position and, in the second position of the rotating transfer element, the flap is arranged in the second distribution position. A blocking device maintains the flap in the first distribution position.
