  • Publication number: 20240039985
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automatic selection of servers includes executing, on a computing device, a web application, the web application configured to provide a location-specific and/or site-specific operator workplace, the operator workplace providing a user interface allowing an operator to interact with an industrial control system at the location and/or site. The method further comprises executing, on the computing device, one or more service worker modules. The service worker modules are configured to provide access to workplace information for providing the operator workplace to the web application, and perform, by means of a selection logic, an automatic selection of a server among a plurality of servers including local servers at the location and/or site.

  • Publication number: 20240012369
Abstract: A method for providing visual contents to user for monitoring processes in an industrial system. The method comprises receiving plurality of variables associated with processes in industrial system. Further, the method comprises determining presence of one or more critical variables based on one or more parameters, using machine learning model. Furthermore, the method comprises identifying one or more first visual contents by associating the one or more critical variables with plurality of visual contents. Each of the plurality of visual contents represents one or more processes from the plurality of processes and corresponding variables. Moreover, the method comprises identifying one or more second visual contents based on availability of behaviour data of user, using the machine learning model. Thereafter, the method comprises providing the one or more first visual contents and the one or more second visual contents to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230168791
Abstract: A system and method for generating a series of content areas for presentation at a display screen that are related to an overall machine-related-status of a machine-system, including: providing a status at an input of a first processing unit; accessing a first database-system storing a plurality of series of content areas including a respective position of each of the content areas for presentation at a display screen assigned to the respective overall machine-related-status; determining the series of content areas related to the actual overall machine-related-status for selecting the series of content areas assigned to the actual overall machine-related-status, and generating the selected series of content areas, including a respective position of each of the content areas for presentation the series of content areas related to the actual provided machine-system status at the respective position at the display screen.

  • Publication number: 20220044178
Abstract: A system for action determination includes an input unit, a processing unit, and an output unit. The input unit provides the processing unit with information relating to a plurality of past actions over a period of time associated with the operation of an industrial process. The input unit provides the processing unit with information relating to a plurality of past process events over the time period associated with the operation of the industrial process. The input unit provides the processing unit with information relating to a new process event. The processing unit determines a correlation between at least some of the plurality of past actions with at least some of the past process events. The processing unit determines at least one recommended action from the information relating to the new process event, the determination including utilization of the determined correlation. The output unit outputs the at least one recommended action.

  • Patent number: 10684610
Abstract: An industrial control system (ICS) frontend system has a visualization component that concurrently visualizes a functional ICS view (FICSV) and further functional view (FFV). The FICSV represents ICS data associated with the ICS. The FFV is either a further FICSV representing ICS data or is a functional GIS view representing GIS data associated with a geographic information system. The functional views can respond to an associating event. The system further has a data input component configured to receive user input data, the input data indicating a directed associating operation (DAO) between the FICSV and FFV. A system processor component launches the associating event in response to received input data if the DAO is allowed. If the DAO is from an FFV object to the FICSV, the FICSV function is performed using FFV object properties; if from an FICSV ICS object to the FFV, the FFV function uses ICS object properties.
