  • Patent number: 6089263
Abstract: A distribution device for a circuit operated with a liquid medium for a heating system or a cooling system, such as a hot water heating plant, a solar plant or the like. The distribution device serves to separate the medium into individual circuits each having a distribution pipe for forward and return flow, wherein the distribution pipes are provided with regulating and locking members as well as, if necessary, measuring and indicating members for the individual circuits. The regulating and locking members include members for preadjusting the maximum flow rate and for regulating the respective circuit, wherein the regulating and locking members are each combined in a fitting with only one valve body with flow from the front against the valve body, and wherein the regulating and locking members are exclusively arranged in the return flow pipe.

  • Patent number: 5875821
Abstract: A housing for receiving individual components of a heating or cooling installation is formed of at least two shells of thermally insulating plastic which enclose the components between themselves. The shells are provided at their respective facing edges with a rabbet connection formed of a rabbet strip and a groove strip corresponding thereto in shape and dimensions. The flank of the groove strip of the bottom shell which cooperates with the rabbet strip is divided into an upper partial surface inclined relative to the rabbet strip at an angle .alpha. to the normal line and a lower partial surface which is inclined at an angle .beta. to the normal line. The angles .alpha. and .beta. have opposite rotational directions. The rabbet strip of the top shell has surfaces corresponding to the surfaces of the groove strip so as to substantially facilitate closing and opening of the housing.

  • Patent number: 5381902
Abstract: Units for supplying a circuit of a heating or cooling supply system which are required for conveying a medium and for regulating and monitoring are arranged at parallel pipelines for the forward and return flows so as to be combined in an installation-ready structural component group in a housing of thermal insulating plastic, the housing being divided into a lower shell and an upper shell by a seam extending approximately in the central plane formed by the pipelines, the lower shell and the upper shell having a lock-seam connection with lock-seams that form a positive-locking connection along the entire outer edges of the shells, the upper shell being provided with openings that allow the parts of the units essential for operation to penetrate, while the lower shell is provided with a component for direct fastening to a wall, the strength and thickness of the material of the lower shell and upper shell being selected so that the housing can be used as protective transportation packing for the structural comp

  • Patent number: 4019681
Abstract: A thermal distributing unit for thermal working fluid, primarily for heating and/or air conditioning purposes, comprises a first or thermal supply stand having a main supply connection and a main return connection for the or each thermal working fluid, a second or electricity supply stand equipped with an electrical connection for receiving an electric power supply from an outside source, and an intermediate structure interconnecting the said first and second stands which structure carries rows of paired subsidiary supply and return connections for the thermal working fluid or fluids. The subsidiary supply and return connections communicate with the main supply and return connections through manifolds on the intermediate structure. The said structure may also carry, for the working fluid or fluids motor-driven circulating pumps and control valves associated with the pairs of subsidiary connections.
