  • Patent number: 9206621
Abstract: A tractor cab has an access door with an associated door latch to hold the door in a shut position and an openable panel such as a window which is secured in a closed position by a window latch mechanism which acts between the window and cab. The window latch mechanism includes resilient means which, when the window is secured in its closed position, allows the window to move outwardly relative to the cab when the door is slammed shut thus ensuring that the door latch can be engaged.

  • Patent number: 5100066
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for processing domestic, industrial and other like waste with the production of a cellulose material in which the waste material is subjected to pre-comminution, magnetic separation, air-classification and fractionating. It is primarily characterized in that the light fraction consisting of paper, textiles and plastics material separated in the air-classification is passed to a washing station and the washed air-floatable materials passed into a pulper, the ballast substances are removed following the treatment in the pulper by means of screening and the cellulose particles distributed in the water that pass the screen are introduced, directly or after pressing out the water, to a paper mill that may be associated with the plant, or the pressed cellulose particles are dried and recovered as powder.

  • Patent number: 4895642
Abstract: A process for separating particles of electrically non-conductive material, especially plastics material and/or paper, from waste, in which before separation the waste may be prepared by comminution, dehydration and/or loosening up, it is to be further developed so that the particles of non-conductive material can be removed simply and economically. This is achieved by subjecting the waste, as a heterogeneous stream of material of limited particle size, at a first station to a treatment which electrostatically charges the particles of non-conductive material and at a subsequent second station extracting the electrostatically charged particles, in the fluidized or suspended state of the stream of material, from the stream of material by means of at least one receiver of opposite electrostatic charge.

  • Patent number: 4894148
Abstract: A device for separating a heterogeneous mass of solid material into fractions. The constituents of a heterogeneous mass of solid material are comminuted and dried and then separated into fractions. The mass is received in a trough-shaped and subjected to vibration causing high density constituents to segregate downwards and low density constituents to segregate upwards, so that the fractions may be removed at different layer levels.

  • Patent number: 4815668
Abstract: A process for working up household, industrial and other similar waste for the recovery of a fibrous and/or granulated material, in which the waste material is subjected to preliminary comminution, magnetic separation, classification, drying and fractionation, wherein the light fraction resulting from the classification carried out after the magnetic separation is subjected to secondary comminution by cutting, and the heavy fraction to a predominantly granulating secondary comminution and thereafter both comminution products are recombined, dried and fractionated into fibrous matter and granulated material, is to be simplified, and in particular the costs reduced. This is achieved in that before the secondary cutting comminution appliance at least one part stream or the whole stream of the light fraction is diverted and fed directly and/or after comminution in a further comminution unit to further utlization. A device for carrying out the method is also proposed.

  • Patent number: 4623515
Abstract: In order to avoid producing any secondary waste in the production of a fibrous and a granular material from household, agricultural, forestry waste, organic waste of the manufacturing and/or service industries, the primary waste first undergoes an opening treatment in an opening unit and then, after removal of any metallic components by magnetic separation units, is divided into three fractions. Such division is effected by a fractioning unit into (a) a fine fraction not exceeding the required final product particle size, (b) a coarse fraction easy to process mechanically, and (c) a coarse fraction difficult to process mechanically. The two coarse fractions are then separately reduced to the required final product particle size in reducing unit optimally suited to the particular coarse fraction.
