Abstract: A multilaser arrangement includes: a housing including a base plate, a housing cap fastened on the base plate, and a transparent element, the base plate including a bottom face, the housing cap including an opening with the transparent element assigned to the opening for the passage of electromagnetic radiation; lasers, each being arranged inside the housing at a distance from the bottom face of the base plate, the housing cap including an upper wall and a side wall, which includes a lower edge and a surface, is formed integrally with the upper wall, and ends with the lower edge fastened on the base plate, the side wall having a first thickness and a second thickness, the first thickness being measured in a direction perpendicular to the surface, the second thickness being measured at the lower edge and being less than or equal to the first thickness.

Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for pneumatically removing a fibrous ribbon or a severed yarn end from the spinning rotor of an open-end spinning machine in the event of an interruption in the spinning process having the steps of withdrawing the fibrous ribbon or severed yarn end from the spinning rotor by directing a first pressure air stream against the mouth of an air withdrawing duct, and scavenging the spinning rotor by directing a second pressure air stream against a collecting channel of the spinning rotor in order to remove any severed fibers and impurities.

Abstract: Method of and apparatus for cooling the spinning units of open-end spinning machines driven by individual high speed electric motors. A cooling air flow is separated from the technological air flow, such cooling air flow being introduced into the housing of each unit in the space between the rotor of its motor and the spinning rotor connected thereto and dividing into two flows. One such flow travels between the stator and rotor of the motor; the other flow travels within the unit housing radially outwardly of the stator of the motor.
