  • Publication number: 20090127144
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastening device for at least one circular data carrier such as a CD or DVD with a central opening in a cassette or box. The fastening device of this type prevents an unauthorized removal of the data carrier when the container is closed by virtue of the fact that a safeguarding device is provided that has a supporting ring concentric to a bearing ring of the box and facing the data carrier. The safeguarding device is fastened inside the box such that when the box is closed, the safeguarding device at least partially covers the area of tongues of the box on the top side of the fastening device, and that the supporting ring is arranged on the side of the data carrier facing away from the bearing ring.

  • Publication number: 20090004323
Abstract: The present invention relates to a manifold unit for supplying casting material in an injection moulding system for processing thermoplastic polymers via a hot runner system with at least one needle valve nozzle which can be sealed by a shut-off needle. In this case, the shut-off needle can be moved by a hydraulic or pneumatic drive system. The needle valve nozzle has a first longitudinal axis and the drive system, which has a piston, has a second longitudinal axis, the first longitudinal axis being arranged parallel to and laterally offset from the second longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 6983842
Abstract: The use of soft material or thinly designed tongues is made possible for fastening devices for at least one disc shaped data carrier with a central opening in a cassette, wherein the cassette comprises a middle part on which a crown of tongues is provided, elastically insertable into the central opening of the at least one data carrier, while still preventing unwanted falling out of the data carrier, for example CDs or DVDs. This is made possible in that at least one connecting element is provided, moveably connecting at least two of the tongues, wherein the connecting element is produced in the production of the fastening device in a first position and wherein after the production for increasing the restoring force of the tongues against the data carrier the connecting element is moved into a second position.

  • Publication number: 20040163976
Abstract: The invention relates to a securing device for at least one circular data carrier, comprising a central opening arranged in a housing, said housing comprising a central section on which a ring of tongue-like elements is secured, said elements engaging in an elastic manner in the central opening of the at least one data carrier. The aim of the invention is to prevent the data carriers, e.g. CDs or DVDs, from falling out of the housing. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the central part comprises an inner area which is essentially circular in shape and wherein the tongue-like elements are secured on the inner edge at a certain distance so that gaps remain between the tongue-like elements and that the inner area comprises means which enable a highly elastic movement of the ring of tongue-like elements relative to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20040119295
Abstract: The use of soft material or thinly designed tongues is made possible for fastening devices for at least one disc shaped data carrier (2) with a central opening in a cassette, wherein the cassette comprises a middle part (1) on which a crown of tongues (3,3′) is provided elastically insertable into the central opening of the at least one data carrier (2), while still preventing unwanted falling out of the data carrier, for example CDs or DVDs. This is made possible in that at least one connecting element (14, 14′) is provided, moveably connecting at least two of the tongues (3,3′), wherein the connecting element (14, 14′) is produced in the production of the fastening device in a first position (14) and wherein after the production for increasing the restoring force of the tongues (3,3′) against the data carrier (2) the connecting element (14, 14′) is moved into a second position (14′).

  • Patent number: 5586651
Abstract: The holder for the compact disk (2) comprises Z-shaped retaining tongues (3) having each a radial arm (4b) and an axial arm (5b). The external supporting surfaces (7) for the disk (2) are strongly undercut. Due to a supporting bead (8) which surrounds the ring of retaining tongues (3), the disk (2) is supported at a distance above the radial arms (4b). The retaining tongues are thus sufficiently elastic and have no sharp transitions, and no notching or shearing stresses are possible in the critical area. A safe retention without any risk of rupture is thus ensured.

  • Patent number: 5505613
Abstract: The injection nozzle has a thin-walled centering bushing inserted between the tip insert and the mold insert. The centering bushing engages a shoulder of the mold insert and thus achieves a mutual centering and sealing of the tip insert and the mold insert. This avoids the inflow of molding material into the cavity between the tip insert and the mold insert which would impair or delay the changing of colors of the material, and the injection needle is effectively centered so that a cylindrical tip portion can close a very short cylindrical portion of a gate bore. The heat transfer between the heated nozzle parts and the mold insert is nevertheless maintained at a low level since the mutual centering is obtained by narrow contact sites.
